Poetry

In the

darkness I walk

maybe to come out and bring you joy

or a balloon or two.

But who I was before I walked in isn’t who I am today

I come to you from the darkness with some joy left in my heart

But I don’t know how much longer that joy will last.

Before the darkness eats up all the color inside of me

leaving you with nothing but a blank stare or evil grin now then.
