The Edges & Alignment of life.

So many edges in life

Sometimes there just apart of your favorite memorial structures

Or an edge of a big humpback whale tail.

Or just maybe the edges are different and apart of sample tiles or a hallway that seems to go on and on forever.

How does one handle the many edges in life

does one simply just photograph them and tuck them away for another day.

Oh does one admire them everywhere they go and try not to take them for granted.

Seeing Double!

seeing double gray cars!

Seeing double wherever I go like I can’t seem to get away

from the two’s.

You can see two of me if I had a twin

but I am not so two of me is not out there

walking around, joking around.

There is just one of me but if there were two of me

how could the world handle that.

Two voices that would be powerful, stubborn and full of life.

But for now only one voice will have to do, but I do enjoy seeing double

every now and then.

A friendship left behind!

You sit alone next to our favorite tree

The tree we always met at to talk about our day.

I want to run up to you and take the sadness away

But you pushed me away last week and now I’m invisible

To you.

You turn as if you sense someone watching you

And you stare right at me and that sadness turns into anger

True resentment is written on your face.

And I’m confused for I did not do anything for this hate to be so strong  in you.

Can’t you see the love, the confused look in my eyes

And before I know what is happening I’m running to you depending you tell me what’s wrong.

Then I wake and realize it was just a nightmare to the ending I never got.

Because,  that day so long ago I left you all alone and everything else.

If only I could explain it now to you, then maybe you would understand and would forgive me.

However like past I’m history to you, an faded memory of our childhood.

I see you through the walls you put up to keep them out.

I want you to know that no matter how many walls you

put up I will break them all down.

I know you seem to think being on your own will always be your way

to live without feeling disappointed but I know the truth.

You will smile again, and you will bring down all those walls.

Because living behind the glass is nice sometimes but there is so

much more outside those windows you avoid.

My Treasures!

My treasures are small

Old and a gift.

They are there to remind me

I was once a child.

A teenage who was shy and

Was afraid to use my voice, to share my work.

But because of my treasures I have found my voice and I’m not afraid to share my words.

Happy Easter Everyone!

You are my strength, my heart, my dreams.

My passion, because of you I am me.

A blessing, an hope, someone’s child, your child.

Who are you?

You are my Lord, you gave up your son so I

Can be free, to be forgiven of my sins and to be able to have a relationship with you.

So that I can have someone to turn to

When my days seem so dark and my hope is low.

To be able to find myself in this big world.

I am grateful and I am honored to celebrate this day because of you.

Weekend

What do you mean to me

a time to relax and get lost in a book.

To laugh and enjoy a movie or two

To stop thinking and just let the day go by.

To have fun and let loose the stress of the week

from my shoulders.

To truly breath for once since the demands of beginning of the week.

Beauty come back to me!

IMG_6208 (1).JPG

What started off so beautiful as the sunset

quickly turned so dark, and I couldn’t stop myself from walking right into the quicksand.

Soon it was dragging me down.

How did  I get so far away from  that beauty I once got so blinded by.

On a journey all on my own, I can’t let the darkness slip in through the

cracks of my life anymore.

So beauty when your ready to come back I will be waiting with  my lights on.

Landscape & Cropping

I didn’t see you coming as each shot was taken

and a new image was put up and then it was over.

And I stood there not knowing what just happened

but it was beautiful and real and more than I could ever imagine.

Your never going to get it

No matter how many times I try to explain to you

it never seems to make sense or maybe you’ve forgotten

what I’ve said.

It just seems to go in one ear and out the other

but yet  you look at me like I’m not making sense.

And maybe that’s your way of saying you don’t care

and it’s time for me to just shut up and walk away

for your never going to get it.

And I refuse to stand here and waste my words on you.

So bye never going to get it, for I get it now and there’s no need for me to explain myself anymore.
