Daily Prompt: Substandard

He loved walking through his neighborhood and seeing all the nice lawns  and newly painted doors and window frames.

And seeing all the people enjoying these last weeks of summer before fall comes and everyone goes but to their super busy lives.

And as he comes to the end of his street he sees the one house that just doesn’t substandard of the neighborhood as its been long abandoned.

The bad sharp of the house seems to always bring down the positive and beautiful vibes of the neighborhood were everyone knows each other and helps out when they can.

He wishes someone could buy it and fix it up and shine some light back on it so then the neighborhood could included it in its beauty and represent what this little group of families have worked hard to keep safe.

he desired her like one craved a good meal

after a long day at work.

At first he will try to resistant his desire that seems to

overcome him.

Day and night because she was the only one for him and he

stayed faithful to her no matter how some tempted his desire to no end.

But, he was strong and loyal and honest to no end for he knew the way things

will go and how they would end.

I didn’t want to call you a pest but every time

I tried to get something done there you were.

Asking another question and you would walk away

only to ask another question a couple of minutes later.

I had to run and hide for you just wouldn’t leave me alone,

I tried to be nice and help but when do you get the hint that I need

to my own work too.

Give me hope

Sometimes the words that I read give me the hope I didn’t see around me that day

the hope that not all people are crazy or  evil.

And maybe just maybe I will be treated better than I was yesterday

and do these people feel bad at the end of the day.

Because their behavior was not called for but they did it anyway and, then some how the anger fades and they apologies.

And you take a deep breath and realize some people are so focus on how important they feel they are and when they see you.

They realize they are above you and so you should be doing whatever they want you to do and do it fast.

As I take a deep breath and let it all fall off my back and move on with my day all the things that should take away my hope of a peaceful day.

Just doesn’t for my hope that things will be better always out weights the negative cloud of people that blow through my way.

Is the first book apart of this series and It’s good. Lyric and Wolf meet as she escapes from a bad relationship and becomes his band road manager. She knows his trouble and she doesn’t want to fall for another rocker and he knows she’s uptight and a girl who wants a relationship and his not that type of guy. I love a book about two people who feels they shouldn’t be together and you wait to see if they work out. This book is worth the read. And so is the second book which came out on July 27,2017.

Synopsis

He stole her lyrics, and then he stole her heart.
Lyric Cassidy is off the tour, lost as to what her next career move will be, and certain that she’ll never love again after Wolf. All because of a social media scandal that left her with no choice but to pack up and face the consequences. When she learns that the fate of her career is in her hands, she has a difficult decision to make. Step back on the tour bus with Wolf and deal with the mess she left behind, or end her contract early and lose her job at Perform Live?
Wolf’s shattered heart finds no resolve in giving Lyric a chance to come back on tour. He can never be with her again. Not after she walked away. Conflicted with wants and needs, he struggles to remember who Wolf was before Lyric. That’s what he needs to become again. Maybe then his heart will be safe. Or maybe there’s no hope for the damaged.
But with stolen dreams, betrayals, and terrifying threats—no one’s heart is safe. Not even the ones that may be destined to be together.

He walked in shallow water as he was afraid to walk in any farther.

For he knew there was sharks out there and he knew they were out there.

And he just couldn’t let let them get him for he had so much to live for.

He never asked for this fear and he knew that one day he would have to break it.

If he ever wanted  to do more he knew the shallow water wasn’t where he was meant to still.

So many steps in my life that sometimes I just want to take a break and rest on one of the landings and wait until I’m ready for the next step I need to take.

Some things take more steps than others and I’m trying to take them all one step at a time.

Because Falling down them all at one time isn’t something I want or need right now.
