Too tired

To fight you even though you are wrong.

To late to teach you the right way.

For I can see the wheels turning behind your eyes and i just know all you want to do is play.

You don’t want to be tied down and you don’t want to comfort anyone anymore.

The warmth from you is long gone like the fire last night that blew out in the night.

Never satisfied you hover over me like there is so much more you want to say.

But then you do quiet and I’m okay with that as I tell myself I can’t keep letting you get to me.

I won’t pretend and I won’t bother to explain for you won’t listen anyway as communicating with you feels one sided.

And I’m tired of building my side back up after you destroy it every time with your words and your stubbornness.
