All I want

To say is to hard to say all at once

So I’ll write you a letter and let the words on paper tell you how I feel and what I know.

Every time you challenge me, I back up as if that will help as I keep it all bottled up inside to wait for the day I let it flow on you.

I know now that if I don’t say anything, things will become strained, and the connection will die out.

And even with your judgment, you are worth having around.

Poetry

Like a thin

Thread, I am holding on to my peace, but I can see the wear and tear are getting worst.

And I start to think if I give it one good tug, I’d be free of the things that push and pull me out until I’m too weak to fight back.

But each day, I hold on to hope that the things I can’t control won’t outweigh the things I can.

And the many threads of my life will hold on until they can’t anymore, and by then, I’ll have strong backup ones.
