Surrounded

By energy, that is so great that only when I put on my headphone do I get some peace.

The voices of anger and frustration are gone

And all I hear is the smooth beats of music flowing through my ears, and all is good again.

But I can’t permanently block them out because I have no control over other people and what comes out of their mouths.
