I’m losing

Hope in this place, as things get going down.

I know I should keep my head down and keep moving forward.

But sometimes it feels like enough is enough.

And yet I come back for more, knowing nothing will change!

One day, you will wake up and change your way.

But this isn’t a fairy tale. The ending to this story may not be all I hoped for, but I know I never settled for less than what I deserve.
