I am

I am becoming better because I am accepting help.

And I am not letting my ego get in the way of listening to others.

Sometimes, I can’t see the big picture because I rush through the moment.

In a state of urgency, as if the words will disappear before I get them down.

And the message becomes unclear and ends up not helping anyone.

And that would be a letdown as the play of words is what we look forward to when experiencing poetry.
