Follow me

As I travel through the snow covered trees.

Trying to have some fun on this cold day.

Wishing we could spend more days like today together.

But our world is different now and life and time seems more spent at work than at home together.

Now I’m up, and you’re just getting home, and soon as you lay your head on your pillow, I’ll be out the door.

And this goes on for days and nights, and when you finally have time for us, time speeds up, and it’s gone.

And the ache in my chest begins to grow again, but without you entirely just isn’t an option.

So only in time will it get better, or I’ll just settle for what you give me.
