My favorite subject in school?
That would have been Art and Latin
Even though I wasn’t great at art, I was able to express myself, and my art teacher was very laid back and helped and inspired me to dig deep.
I loved Latin. For one, I didn’t have to speak too much of it other than recite Humpty Dumpty in Latin and study vocabulary; I just learned about history, and my teacher was friendly and very entertaining. I took the first two classes with her and the last Latin three with her best friend, who taught Latin too and was the sweetest teacher too.
I still appreciate those teachers and learning art and Latin in high school.
While my Latin teachers did make us learn the language and write a lot, I can’t help but wonder, my two Latin teachers were besties, did you go to school in the DMV area?
