Your light guides me to a better place when I’m going through a rough patch in my life.

You’re the joy that stays with me all year long, and I don’t know what I would do without you.

Your eyes always shine so brightly during the holidays; it’s like just the thought of seeing those you love and enjoying your favorite time of year.

It lights you up inside like fireworks that never seem to go out or dim even when things get dark for you or me.

 Comes to a end

This is the time to look at all the decorations that have been given and hung to make the season feel so great.

So many of them bring a smile to your face as they hold a special place in your heart.

This season you love and cherish and when it’s over it’s a little sad.

But, life has to go on and there is always next year.

But in this moment this good mood and good spirit will carry on with you as the year comes to an end and new year begins.

holidays and how I look forward to them.

For it is a moment in my day that I can rest and play with no worry anyone will be contracting me.

I can truly enjoy what its all about and watch as many holiday movies too with no worry that my time will be up and back to reality I go.

If only my life could be like a holiday on repeat with no sad moments but all full of joy and laughter.

With no worries that others are using me or just giving up and expecting me to pick up where they left off.

To knowing when its time to let go and move on and be at peace with the changes that are coming around.

Because before you know it the holidays will be here and this time things will be more busier than you thought and plans will change in front of your eyes without a care in the world how it just turned you upside down.

Merry Christmas

everyone I hope you are enjoying your day wherever you are with the ones you love and hope you cherish all the moments you get to spend with them.

And remember that it’s not all about the presents but the time spent with your love ones and the birth of Jesus and how because of him we are in a better place if you believe.

This holiday always seems to bring the best out of some people and the worst out of others.

But, it’s a time where you just don’t want to give up on things for you want to believe it will all work out in the end.

For you want to enjoy the last minutes of this year before the new journey of 2018 comes your way.

Christmas is just around the corner and I know that were all going to be together and it would be fun to try some new drinks together.

So let me gather up all the cranberries I can find and some pears and anything that would make a great drink.

And try a couple of recipes out  to just make sure they taste great for I want them to enjoy these drinks and for this holiday to be one that they remember for a very long time.

It’s that time of year

where secrets are being kept and everyone around you is trying to figure out what they got for Christmas. 

Little kids are writing letters to Santa and hoping they get what their little heart desires and the joy is all around and you can’t seem to stop smiling about everything you see. 

From Christmas lights to families going out to do their Christmas tree shopping and other family traditions. 

Everyone is in such a good mood rather it’s about what they have still to look forward too or the time they have off to send with their family and friends. 

This time of year can bring out so much joy and memories and even some sadness but we always seem to come together and help out one another for the kindness and caring heart is really stepping up. 

Days seem longer but there always seems like there are more joyful moments to experience. 

You walk away with a smile on your face and you are grateful for the small things that happened throughout your day.

The holidays always make me so jolly.

I love the Christmas music and the Christmas movies.

It just lights me up inside like all the Christmas lights that are up.

I shine like the star on top of the Christmas tree.

So unique and just so silently shining

So bright this season.

There is just something magical about this season and holiday.

The happiness is all around and sometimes in places and people you never  expected.

How much

more can one take before one’s mind just gives up and demands some rest

So much going on that you don’t know what to think next or what to do next.

Your running out of time and you just want to get it all done in time before the holidays come to an end and you missed having any fun.

You have so much shopping and decorating to do you just don’t know what you will end up doing first.

You skip thanksgiving decoration and go straight to Christmas  your favorite time of year where for a moment you get lost in holiday movies and tradition and you smile more than you usually do.

Your happy and for once all you stress just melts away and life just seems so much easier for you and you begin to learn how it feels to be relaxed and at ease in the life you live even if you know it won’t last.

You suck up as much as you can for soon you will be going back to life that is crazy and out of your control but you hope for the best to come your way and send you on a better path.

Daily Prompt: Calm

Keep calm the holidays are fastly arriving and the joy is all around.

Your heart is beating calmly before all your family members arrive.

And then you realize there is so much left to do.

And your heart starts to beat a little faster and you feet start to run around a little faster.

And the calm before the storm is over

And you realize there is no going back at this time.

Your calm is over and it’s time to close your eyes and just take deep breaths and hope it all works out.

What’s a couple of days of panic, good sleep, and cheeks hurting laughter going to do to you.

Keep the hope of calmness in your heart and maybe just maybe it will all work out.
