Happy Valentine’s day
This day is just another day to some people because their love
is shared with each other every day.
Today maybe they put just a little more touch to the love they have for their other half
backing the love that is so divine and unconditional and just down right unexplainable.
The words and actions they may be able to do, sometimes still doesn’t measure how they feel for that person.
Today may go by quickly but tomorrow the memories will have settled and nothing they could do would make you stop loving them.
But, only time will tell if it was all for show or they will continue to wow you with their love for love isn’t something that simple lasts a day with them.
They are committed to the relationship and the growth and everyday to them is day to share and treasure the love they have for you.
So enjoy today whether your single or in a relationship for the love you have for yourself and others is just as important today as it was yesterday.

Daily Prompt: Scent
You smell like fresh flowers on a nice day
You seem so confident as you walk around today.
You smile so brightly that nothing seems able to darken your day.
You move with so much grace, blessing every one with your scent as you greet them all this morning.
Their  smiles don’t seem to fade even when your gone.
There worries aren’t as big as they seem after talking to you.
The hope that is inside of them is  beginning to grow again.
Life for them becomes lighter and they can truly breathe again.

Honestly
As the words left my mind and got to you
I felt free and at peace but a little nervous.
But, now I feel like vines have started to grow and a wall is coming up.
Letting no light in and all around me is darkness.
The garden that was my safe haven is now all dead and freeze.
As the snow falls down all around me until I’m buried.
Will spring come and melt my troubles away or will I always be this way.
Cold with no care in the world as everything slowly passes me by.

Daily Prompt: Invitation
To be invited into your life would mean a lot to me.
But, it requires me to wait for that moment when you give me the invitation
and I accept it with no hesitation.
Yet, playing it off like I wasn’t waiting here patiently hoping you would invite me into an experience I knew would end up being amazing.
Two days until I know what I’ve been waiting for was really worth the wait and, will bring nothing but joy into my life.

Daily Prompt: Companion
My companion right now is my dog as we sit
inside as the severe Thunderstorm does it work outside.
The rain is heavy as it beats on windows and slams on-screen doors,
begging to be let in.
It just wants to play and wash over everything you own and letting you
know material things can be replace but you can’t.
So be safe out there in this storm because it wants a companion too
and it’s best to just not let it have its way.
I’ll take my chances with the companion I have today safe and sound inside
my little home where the rain can’t hurt me as long as I have faith that my God will
keep his children safe and not to worry about the things I can’t control.
