She didn’t know what copycat meant
she was just a little girl who thought being
just like the lady next door was cool.
So she would take her moms sunglasses, scarf,
and high-heels and walked around the house feeling important.
She loved pretending to be this women that came home every day with
a smile on my face.
This little girl so all the good in the world and wanted to capture it by copying the woman who seemed to light up everything, she dreamed to be one day.

Oh, that doesn’t sound like such a bad thing after all. At some point she will learn how to shine on her own 🙂
She’ll forever have that image as a positive role model, a goal to guide her as she matures.
