Am I

Ever going to figure this out.

I want to say more than I’ve said in the past to you.

But I don’t want to scare you away

For the unknown is just so deep and right now so inconsistent.

I’m not ready to let you in completely.

Because I’m haunted by memories of my past.

From a similar situation that didn’t go so well.

I know I have to move on and give you a chance.

But right now it’s hard for me to break away from those chains that are holding me back.
