Word of the day Elation

Word of the day challenge Elation

To experience so much happiness

It’s like floating on cloud 9 and no matter

What is thrown your way.

That happiness never seems to break and as you lay your head down.

Your smile never seems to fade even as you drift off to sleep.

Looking

for adventure

Something new to explore

For the first time

So tired of sitting inside all day.

Ready to get back out

To the beautiful nature with no worries of running into anyone.

The water feels so good today

That I may stay in a little bit longer.

And spend some time underneath the waterfall.

Sometimes

We focus so much on

The wrong thing

That we miss out on the right thing.

Maybe taking it slow won’t hurt me but help me.

To get

away and be in a quiet place

With no urgency insight

Would be nice

If only for a weekend.

Just before the weather gets even colder..

I need a breather before it all comes full force into my lap again.

a fox looking straight at you

fox you sneaked into my life and at first I was a little worried for you barely said a word just watched me with your curious eyes.

As we got closer I realize the hesitant you had made when we first met was because you had seen something in me and it scared you.

For you knew there was more to come from this friendship that would last longer than you thought was possible, I will always be grateful for you sneaking into my life and stealing a piece of my heart.

forest, you grow and not just by growing up but by wisdom and kindness.
You try your best to stay calm and do what you can.
However, life keeps throwing little things your way to throw you off.
And you can choose to fall for them or rise above them and don’t let them bring you down for you know how hard you work, your values in life.
So forget the bitter people and all the evil things they try to throw at you and keep moving until you can move on and away from them for good.

FALL IS

Photo by Robert Zunikoff on Unsplash

coming soon

will you be ready

for the weather to change

for the need to wear an mask and scarf.

To be out in the cold but not experiencing it the way you did before.

To realize that this fall season will be different and maybe harder.

You may end up having so much more to deal with

and do you think you are prepared?
