Don’t be a

fool as you wake up this morning, I’m hoping you are feeling lucky as things could be different.

So instead of feeling lonely and unappreciated this morning.

Let’s thank the Lord. He woke us up, and even the storm of our day swipes us up and throws us around.

We will get through this, and if it is our time to go and we feel unready, and the outcome seems unfair.

Just let go and let God as the tears fall from all around. Maybe one day you will get the answer or perhaps not the flame that will burn on in the ones you left behind.

I will honor you, and the fight will continue on for you and for them and even though the loss and pain will still be there.

Hope and memories will help them heal the way to peace and acceptance.

Oh God

Breath some light into my life as the foolishness of others around me continue to grow.

Knockdown walls for me so I can escape this impossible path of doom I wouldn’t wish on my greatest enemy.

And as I walk away, I won’t look back, for I know the evil will try to draw me in again.

I can’t take that nonsense anymore and rather walk in your glory and love and peace than something that will amount to nothing in the end.

Feeling certain

That you don’t understand me as you look into my life through your eyes.

As I realize, this conversion we keep having isn’t because I bring it up, but you do as if something you feel is missing from my life, and that makes me seem sad in your eyes.

But the truth is I haven’t been as happy and at peace with myself and my life as I am right now.

Living every moment as if it could be my last and not regretting the things I don’t have or have yet to experience.

Because what I am experiencing now are the things I want and need in my life right now.

Let’s not forget that the life we have shouldn’t be taken for granted, and we should want each other to be happy.

But we should respect the path and places that we are all at and only intervene when things look like they can take a turn for the worst.

I sit

And meditate, which allows the stress of my last two days to melt away.

The positive energy flows through me and carries me so that I am living and not just surviving the next couple of days with the hope of gaining great peace in my life, in my space.

As time moves along, I quietly enjoy the feeling of joy and hope overcome me as I know this week will be challenging, but I am now equipped with the tools to overcome more than just today but every day forward.

It’s time

To make a move as the rain pours down outside.

Hoping I can make a run for it and avoid all the drops and puddles.

In hopes of staying dry and warm at the same time.

But in reality, the rain is hitting you like your the target it’s been waiting for.

And you end up looking like a wet mop, and recovery will take a long shower and a good wash of your hair.

Maybe tomorrow you will have better luck as the rain is yet to come with no rainbows in sight.

Always there for you

The city depended on you in hopes they would always be protected.

But you wanted to be more than just their Savior. You wanted to be their friend and understand them truly.

But as you began to get close to them, a great battle had begun, and you all alone fought back to keep the ones you love safe.

And as the battle continued for four days, you grew tired and weak, and you reached out for help, but no one came.

And so, in the end, the city was captured and you in prison with no visitors insight.
