Not much happening

At this moment, all I can think of is being free with no stress or worry insight.

As I forget everything that is my consistent schedule.

There will be no feeling of a tortured soul.

Unheard voices

Feeling invisible and unvalued but kept around anyway.

There will be relaxation and knowing you are valued by those who see and hear you.

One day all will see you, and they will only know what they have been missing.

I am standing here no matter what is about to happen.

I know what I am worth, and this changes nothing.

I’m not going to hide or try to freak it until I make it.

For I accept where I am in life, and this is me either you get it, or you don’t.

But if you don’t just walk away that way, no time is wasted, and we can each keep standing firm in this life that is meant for us to enjoy.

Poetry

Sometimes

We wish we could predict our futures.

Because living an unclear life is scary.

And even if you are trying to improve and grown in your own way.

Someone else will always have a opinion of what you should be doing with your life.

And maybe thats how you got into the uncertainty path in the first place.

But as you get older, you realize it’s your life, and you’re the one who can live it.

So why not be happy and sure about where you’re going when you become successful, it will be your definition of the word, not others or society.

As I prepare

For a relaxing day

I sit here on my favorite pillow and sip my hot chocolate with whip cream and a drizzle of chocolate syrup on top.

I light my candle of the day and sit back to read my book.

I stop to reflect on how lovely the day is and how I can’t wait to get lost in my good book.

And there is no place I would rather be right now.

Count down to

Christmas has started and of course the tree is up and the lights are on.

The stockings are hung over the fireplace, and the joy and delight are just building up inside.

Like a child, you are excited not for the gifts but for the time off to spend with those you love dearly.

With a bit of time left to reflect as the year slowly ends, you smile at all the fond memories you made this year and all the new people you let in.

And how much you grew, and how much those that genuinely care have shown you so much love and support.

You can say this has been a great year even when things didn’t go your way. Things still somehow worked out for you.

And that in itself is a blessing for you. For so many didn’t make it this year and so many won’t get to see the end.

But forever in our hearts, they will be as we live on for them and take as many risks as possible, for we know tomorrow isn’t promised.

Poetry

I didn’t

See you struggling but allow yourself to get the help you need.

It tears my eyes as I hope you thrive and not just survive this time.

I hope everyone around you sees your effort to be better than before.

I know as you stay calm during this new experience.

You are weighing all the outcomes, and you are pushing for the best.

Because you know what it’s like not to be your best.

You see the world for what it is, and sometimes, you are angry because the system failed you.

But then you rise because you know you can overcome it with great faith.

This battlefield you have entered will not be your last as I see you as a great warrior overcoming it all, and you will walk out again stronger and braver.

Who says

Humans are the only one who gets excited about the holiday.

We dogs get excited too, and we love all the lights, especially the one hanging next to us. It is so pretty and makes our owner happy, which makes us happy.

And we sometimes get a little too curious this time of year when the boxes come out with decorations inside.

We may just put our heads in the box and sniff around, and sometimes we pull out an ornament and play soccer with it.

Mommy doesn’t like it, but it’s fun until we get caught. Then it’s puppy eyes, and all is forgiven but not forgotten.

Poetry

Into the darkness

I go as the hospital goes on emergency lights

Half-darken hallways greet me as I wander down the hallways making my deliveries.

Each unit has its issues for the night.

Everyone is somewhat calm as they think ahead.

Hoping it all turns out okay tonight so when they get off, they can finally catch their breath.

And stop worrying as they get home and go to bed, and have the best sleep ever.
