For I know you have so much more to say.
And I know this season is always hard on your writing as your mind tends to freeze up.
Around the holiday time, you search for joy and happiness as you see the lights and Christmas spirit all around.
Only in time will you write something, and until then, I will wait quietly on the side for you to write something I can enjoy.

Play on a loop inside my head every time I think of you.
It makes me realize that you meant what you said.
And now, I have to accept to move on and focus on where I need to go and not where we were going together.
When it becomes clear that the path I’m on now will be less crowded.
But the people joining me only look out for my best interest.
And those that have fallen off were fooling themselves and me.
Because, in the end, the situation was too much for them, and the outcome was for the best.
No hard feelings on my end, and I knowing the truth is better than living in pretend or politeness.
As you fade from my mind and the loop finally ends. I now know it wasn’t me that was the problem.

We all have
That one thing we treasure the most, and that thing for me, is my little gold tree Christmas ornament that I keep safe every year until December when I put it on my tree.
It’s the one piece to be put on last, and it always steals the show, making the tree complete.
As I place the train down on top of all the colorful ornaments this year, I know this tree will look the best as my train will yet again be the center of attention as each ornament makes it pop even more as the light hits the little gold train on its good side.
This year I want to add additional pieces to the train so it will go all around the tree, making the eyes move with it.
I am making my little treasure so much more than just a little piece on my tree each year.
