I don’t

Artist: Unknown

Think you truly see me

With so much going on around me.

I wonder if I’m interesting enough for you

Or are there so much more beautiful things around that you don’t notice me right away.

But I’m here when your ready to look for me.

I will be the girl hiding behind the mountains we call life.

And hoping the waves don’t knock me off as I try to get my footing in this new challenge I’m facing now.

Oh how I wish I had all the answers before that door closes and you walk away before I can.

me like a canvas

don’t stop until you create the right image in your mind.

I’m ready to get out of my comfort zone and become a piece of art for you.

I am different from those around me and I’m okay with that for today I get to be more than I ever thought I could be.

Every little detail on me is telling a story and inviting you in close to explore it, don’t be shy for I won’t bite.

  • Read and comment on other TLT participants’ lines.

Today I just needed something new to look at, so I went downtown because all the street art is on display in Alley ways and on the side of abandoned buildings.

Some pieces I just can’t stop looking at for I always find something new about it and it always blows me away.

It makes me fall in love with art all over again, the emotions behind each piece, whether it’s silly or filled with sadness and pain or happiness it all just so beautiful.
