is all I wanted to do this year as I knew I had to get to you and see you for the holidays.
Nothing can stop me from getting to you this year not even these leaves I’m about to drive through with my new red car as I make my way on the back roads this year.Â
I know that I must take my time but, don’t worry I will make it in time for Thanksgiving dinner and to hug you later when our stomachs are full and her hearts are just as full too.Â
Today means so much to me and I just didn’t know how much until I walked through that door and saw you sitting there with the biggest smile I ever saw on your face.Â
Seeing you and hugging you was the greatest moment of my day and then came the food but, it’s you I will remember when I look back on the memories we made today.Â

Sometimes
I wonder what is really going on when everything around me seems so quiet this time of year.
On the surface everything seems so great but underneath it all the anger and frustration is starting to bubble up.
The explosion of emotions seem so strong as everyone around is whispering their concerns.
They all know how it suppose to be but one stone out of place really throws it all off balance.
I wish I could say it was this time of year that this problem comes to the surface but, this stone has been here for awhile and yet it ignores the concerns of others.Â
It shifts around as if it is a game that it plays and in no time it causes everything around it to start to crumble and fall out of place.Â
What will become of this place only time will tell because it’s only so much more this structure can take before it falls down completely.Â

That time
of year when it’s so cold outside and it’s time to put on my favorite coat that always keeps me so warm when I’m outside.Â
I love the green and red in my coat just makes me feel like I’m wrapped up in Christmas my favorite time of the year.
With my red nails and my joyful spirit this time of year, I can’t think of nothing I rather do than take a walk on a cold day just to see my breath right in front of my face.Â

I want to see the mountains and the hills and all that nature has to offer me for this ride may not
be something I can enjoy another time around.Â
I want to feel relaxed all the time and not have a care in the world at the end of this trip.

I am
Frustrated and feed up and, yet here I am still dealing with you.
I can’t keep standing by and letting you get away with this and then turn around and act like you are so great.
It takes time to do what we have to do and as it gets cold it seems you are standing around daydreaming as we run around doing what’s best for us.Â
I know the day will come where I will not be frustrated or feed up for I will not be around to watch you do what you think you are doing well.Â
You will probably not think back to the things that went wrong and think was I apart of that?
No you will not think another second about the things that go wrong for you don’t make mistakes.Â

just don’t seem to want to come out of me right now as I sit here wonder where my day has gone.
So easy but difficult as what started off as a nice cold morning as usual turned into a snow falling slowly but, soon roads a mess.
To seeing those in there tiny cars try to make it somewhere and realize when it is too late that their car just isn’t the right automobile to be out on the road.
Risking your life for what a joyride in the snow when most places are closed and others just have staff stuck inside.
Who made the decision that this was the day to come out and play around, wrecks everywhere and closed downs everywhere because it just sad how little we think of other’s life until it is gone and then the guilt will eat you alive.

is our time when it gets so cold and the snow arrives, and school is closed because it’s just not safe to be out in this weather.
But, just a little bit away is the ice rink that me and my friends always hit up when it’s cold and we can all get together amd have fun and make new memories.Â
As I skate to you with the hope of making this shot for the first time this year all the practice I’ve been doing I really hope it pays off, this time around.Â

I try
to get along with everyone
but once you rub me the wrong way it’s hard for me to see you for anything other than someone who bugs me.
I try to give people chances because well were all human but, if you take me for granted and think it’s okay to well walk all over me.
You will be surprised when I’m walking beside you and you are no longer on the top of the pyramid anymore.
I like to think I bring people down to earth when they have floated to close to the sun and think they are great at everything and no one can teach them something new.
I want to play nice but, if you are going to repeat the same stuff over and over again like I’m going to just step up and do your duties for you than you have truly loss your mind.
That’s when I realize all the change we want in the world is not coming because, we are falling back only because we are working ourselves so hard for no appreciation from the people who are pushing us to do more than our bodies can handle.
