Who am

I to come after you.

The one who always smiles and spends her time well.

The one who keeps to herself and doesn’t just jump to conclusions.

Even when the outcome may be just like they said it would be.

Maybe giving them benefit of the doubt will bring them around to telling the truth.

Or let them be more comfortable to learn to you more.

Maybe I should have looked more into it before letting you walk through that door.

Releasing

All that is in me

No matter how good or bad it is.

For I’m tired of holding it in.

And that it is all out in the open I can’t seem to hate it for it’s a beautiful sight.

All the different moments and emotions that make up just who I am.

Is floating around me making a beautiful rainbow of life.

A life that seems to be growing more and more with no end in sight just yet.

At this moment I am truly alive and I’m not holding back anymore for life feels so much more precious now.

Not sure

I’m doing what’s best.

But tired of waiting around to see what is not happening.

Ready to find a new path

A new meaning.

A new hope

And maybe this time I won’t hold on for too long.

In the

The wall fall glows not like before.

And there on a rock, she sits after taking a drip in the water so cool.

She only comes at night for the sight is so beautiful she can’t seem to resistance getting in.

Until one night the glow was so bright that she slipped and fell.

But to her surprise, the wall solved her and lifted her back to her rock.

For her time to go was not yet and waterfall enjoyed her company.

And knew one day her spirit would stay with it and together they will continue to protect the forest.

They both loved!

I wonder

Am I too far

Into the denial

That I don’t realize the good things happening in front of me.

And so I keep chasing the things can’t seem to be captured.

Look me

Photo by Nikola Topić on Unsplash

Into my eyes and tell me

You can’t see how much I care.

I’m reaching out to you and yet you seem to not see the truth.

Or maybe you don’t want to face it during the time.

Or ever for you are not the one to take a risk.

Even though you know it will work out for you’re all about the numbers.

But as the clock clicks on you just stand there with no concern insight of making that move.

And I begin to wonder if waiting is worth it if the light slowly fades with the hope inside of me.

For it’s been a long time coming and now with just one reach, the gap between us could finally be over.

Warm

Days

Cold mornings.

Short days

Long nights.

Little moments

Always seem to make this feel alright.

Even with everything changing these little moments with you make the lack of energy worth it.

Ready

to get over the cold and move into the warmth

and not just the weather.

To feel like you could live again without looking over your shoulder to make sure no one is getting to close.

Or being tired of wearing a mask that makes it hard to breathe but you have to wear it for your safety all shift long.

You are helping but you are growing tired and just want to sit and stare out into the world with no worry for the moment.

You know your patience is slowly wearing off but today is another day to fight for something more than yourself.

It’s getting late but for now I’ll wait around hoping things will get better.
