Going out
For the first time in a long time
To just take a walk and let the sunshine down on me.
But, every corner I turn more people appear and maybe before I wouldn’t mind.
But now everything is not normal so to see so many out as everything slowly opens up again.
Wasn’t something I was ready for with the virus still out there.
I quickly turned around and said goodbye to the walking around the neighborhood.
For I now know the risk is way too great to talk a chance on.
This thing is no joke and I for one don’t want it.
So back inside I go to hopefully see another day and maybe one day the normal things will be just that again.

To be
Strong when all you want to do is crawl up in a corner.
To let tears, flow when you can’t hold it all in anymore.
To love unconditionally and hope they will come out alright after you did all you could to nurture them.
To laugh and learn all there is without a manuscript insight but, have so many compliments about what a great job you did.
I would say that these are just a couple things I have seen a great mother do.
For all the things as a child that annoyed me or enlighten me it all stayed with me and made me realize I am who I am because my mother did the best she could.
And her best made me know that I got all I needed to become a good woman and one day a good mother too.

My reflect
Isn’t something I want to see
For it’s not truly me I’m seeing at that moment.
For I have let situations that didn’t last more than five minutes get to me.
And makes me react in a way that is not like me.
Now my clear reflection has become blurry and unknown to me.
That coming back from this moment is going to be hard for it was a big fall I took that night.
When I left the piece of me that made me who I am behind in that blurry reflection.
