Getting out

maybe just what you needed as you have

been locked away from so much because you felt that’s what you needed.

But as you went out today you were suprised but on guard as you didn’t want to get to close to others.

But at the same time you needed the time to explore more than the walls around you.

As Christmas is only five days from now and you can’t wait to continue the joy that only this time seems to bring out when the world is in such a dark place.

This Christmas

was turning out to be quite the spooky one

as the fog rolls in everyday at noon and the lights on the tree would just come on.

When the tree was not even plugged in.

It all started last year when the ghost of Holly-town visited the inn on Dec 21th.

Everything that was so bright turned dim and everything so dim turned too bright.

But no where insight would you find logical proof that it was more than just a ghost haunting the one place he missed the most.

Allowing

Myself to get lost in you

Is the only risk I’m taking as the most magical time of year is right around the corner.

I know taking this step is no surprise to you as you’ve been wanting me to make that move for some time.

But I wasn’t ready and now I am.

And as we walk hand and hand looking at Christmas lights this year.

We know so much is different this year and may not be much better next year.

But as long as we keep getting through this together.

We know we will make it through it all with laughter and some tears.

And love will be the one thing that keeps growing and blooming in our lives together.

Finally

Week 255 of Three Line Tales

I have a moment to slow down and paint again.

Something from the heart as this year has been a rough one.

I know I must take my time to get it right so not only I can enjoy it but my loved ones too.

I remember

Three Line Tales, Week 254

three line tales, week 254: cookies and milk
photo by Tamas Pap via Unsplash

when cookies and milk were something I looked forward to eating for the right amount of dipping of the cookie.

Made it just soft enough to eat and taste so good, but if you dipped it too long the cookie would be lost in the cup of milk and would only make it if you fished it out.

To something that is a classic snack and go to dessert, I know I won’t forget my first time having cookies and milk or my next time having it either.

Together

we can get through any storm

Rain or snow

We will always see the sunny days and smile together at the end.

We are always excited and enlighted to hear from one another throughout our days.

We are one of a kind and we cherish every moment that we get together.

For you are always on my thoughts and you have yet to let me down.

As you have learned so much from me and I from you.

Together we match and we love with all that we have that our love and personality bends and intertwine together so nicely.

And the

Cycle starts again

And all I want to do is avoid

The eyes I feel watching me now.

I just want to blend in and not worry anyone.

As I’m tired to the bone of trying to please everyone.
