Love is

All-around

And yet hate still exist.

But, yet I see so much kindness come my way.

Even when I’m not looking for it.

Meeting new people and bonding to the point you have great love for them.

And you see everything so differently when you see everything in a loving way.

And so you keep believing in love and that things will change.

And just maybe it will.

Oh how

lighted ferris wheel near body of water during night time

things used to be so bright and full of joy.

With no worry in the world to get so close to someone else and not be afraid of catching a virus.

Just looking forward to see the lights and to enjoy your time out and about.

Oh how things have changed and brought new light to things and brought back some of that joy.

So today doesn’t have to be so stressful and can be more enjoyable and still be worth fighting to see another day for.

Today

Is the day

To get up and see what you can do.

For tomorrow may not come.

Or the opportunity to get it done may not be as great as today.

So take a deep breath and just jump

For the fall will be worth it this time.

Because when you get up you may feel doubt and pain.

But, the ability to overcome this stumble will feel as good or better than winning the lottery.

For you will be able to stand up and say you did it.

And if tomorrow comes you won’t have to picture the what if’s or what could have been.

For you will know and have something to show for in the end.

Is it

I who sees you

Or is it you that sees me.

On this cold winter day

When I’m all wrapped up to go outside again.

And the foot prints from earlier are covered up again outside my door.

As if my first trip out didn’t happen at all.

It was

Week 252 of Three Line Tales

three line tales, week 252: a man in chainmail with a torch in a dungeon

quite dark out and as a lite my torch to find my way around the field that night, I came to a dead-end and couldn’t remember which way to go.

Was left that would lead me back to the house or farther into the woods.

Or was it right that would guide me to the house and if I hurry now I can make it there before someone or something come out and find me instead.

Winter

Week 253 of Three Line Tales

two people on a mountain with the summit of Mount Everest in the background

is here and as we live in a world where too many people can’t crowd around and traveling is quite risky.

Deciding to go to the cabin in the mountains for the holidays sounded quite nice for there would be no one insight and the four of us could use a little break.

From the stress and just get out in the fresh air and enjoy the quite and be able to walk around without worrying about getting too close to someone I don’t know.

Poetry

I will

Not fall on your sword because you want to make me unhappy too.
I will not listen to your words.
Because you seem to know it all
I will not blindly follow you through a storm I do not believe in just to feel like I fit in.
I will go down my path and sometimes leave it to say hi and see what else is out there.
But, this path that I am on is the only path I will stay on.
Until he detours me to the path that leads me to my final destination
Then I will see and hear and do what feels right for me.
For my life on this path is only as successful
as long as he allows it to be.

Poetry

Just

can’t say the words that I feel need to be said.

For a lot has gone on and nothing is making much sense right now anyways.

Life as you know it

is over and your okay with that.

For the people you thought would be there

just easily pass on everything because they are as selfish

as any human being could be.

And yet it doesn’t make you question God but those that say to you

all I do is go to church and trust in the lord but yet still turn my back on those who helped me time and time again.

Does that mean one should become cold hearted and cut them off or lean more on god to get you through this thing call life.

Only you can make that decision and I pray you do the right thing for people come and go and their words always reveal who they really are.

So lean on God and he will guide you through it all because he is the only one I trust.
