#MayBook Prompt

To the mismatched lovers

Her pride was not all that she had

But she was sure to show you she was

Strong and determined to do anything.

He didn’t mean to judge her but he had

Not met someone like her before so she

Had shocked him into stupidity.

No one thought they would fall in love

But they were stubborn and knew how

They felt for each other but fought like it

Was a battle.

But in the end love knocked them

On their butts and the pride took a back seat and the

Judging went in hiding. And love out shined it all.

Daily Prompt:Crossroads

I have come to many crossroads in my life

and some how I choose a path that just circles

me back to the road I’ve been on before.

I’m lead down the right road and I find

hope once again and then I stumble and I fall flat on my face.

I roll over and look up at the sky and I wonder how it all went wrong again.

Oh, how my crossroads lead me to growth which then leads to me always end up standing still.

Stuck in a time and place I don’t know how to find my way out without running

away.

This time my crossroads lead me to a new place that was full of joy, hope and I

didn’t know what would become of me at this point, but I hoped the feeling of endless joy.

Would supply me through whatever was thrown at me and I would for once keep moving

and not be stuck in the crossroad I had grown to love and cherish for now.

Every Friday Writting Prompts:Free Writing timer

My moment, my memory!

It’s Saturday but here is  yesterdays Free flow Fridays with Laura again! You can find this weeks writing prompt on her website: Free Flow Fridays I’m so excited to see what I can come up with for this exercise.

DSC01131

This moment, how my  excitement of seeming

this water flowing so beautifully.

I guess that day was exciting and was a great memory of friends that are dear to me.

Like this river the memories of that day has floated away and every now and then

I look over my pictures of that day and I remember how I felt in that moment.

The excitement was overwhelming and filled me with joy a moment, a memory I will

store away in a folder for another day.

Daily Prompt: Giggle

WordPress Daily Prompt for yesterday.

You make me giggle

when we chase each other

around.

Like children again  we have nothing in the world to worry about.

When simple giggles are all we shared.

we’d roll around in the grass not caring if we get dirty.

Just glad to spend time together and to let the giggles fly around.

Until we realize we’re not young anymore, but let’s not let the giggles die away just because of our age.

How I became content with my life!

There’s nothing more that I would need

For I know I’m content with everything I have.

As I sit here and I close my eyes it all falls away and I’m content with what I have again for I feel your warmth God.

And you tell me to just let go and let you take over and as I let go everything falls into place.

My eyes open and I smile for once I feel like I choose to put my trust in you and believed it would all workout.

My mind is clear and I’m in heaven as my heart is beating to a new tune.

A tune of praise so beautiful it made everything else fade away,  I’m soon swaying to the melody that stole my heart forever.

A feeling of true content in you God for my need always came from you so pure.

Finally at my fullest!

I feel like I’ve been missing me

And as the  music pours in I’ve awaken.

From this fog called distraction that had me fooled that I was living to my fullest.

The days that seem so good, just seem like they could have been better.

With the light shining down on me, what a joyful feeling

As everything lights up and warms to the touch.

For I once was a dark forest that was too scary to approach.

Now I’m a grand garden that light shines down on and flowers bloom and birds sing.

And at night I’m full of lights that twinkle like the stars in the night and you come and sit by my side and you are not afraid  that it’s nighttime.

For I’ve made you feel safe and peaceful day and night, an endless time of joy to come.

My Triumph& Contrast

(Seeing something I learned about and studied in school in its full structure was amazing. It inspired this poem.)

Being able to see you in your full beauty

was breath taking.

The waterfall that you were built on memorizing

I will never forget the amount of joy you brought me

that day a memory I will always remember.

My Treasures!

My treasures are small

Old and a gift.

They are there to remind me

I was once a child.

A teenage who was shy and

Was afraid to use my voice, to share my work.

But because of my treasures I have found my voice and I’m not afraid to share my words.

Happy Easter Everyone!

You are my strength, my heart, my dreams.

My passion, because of you I am me.

A blessing, an hope, someone’s child, your child.

Who are you?

You are my Lord, you gave up your son so I

Can be free, to be forgiven of my sins and to be able to have a relationship with you.

So that I can have someone to turn to

When my days seem so dark and my hope is low.

To be able to find myself in this big world.

I am grateful and I am honored to celebrate this day because of you.

Weekend

What do you mean to me

a time to relax and get lost in a book.

To laugh and enjoy a movie or two

To stop thinking and just let the day go by.

To have fun and let loose the stress of the week

from my shoulders.

To truly breath for once since the demands of beginning of the week.

Read

me like a book

each page will surprise, and shock you

the emotions will be all over the place.

But you will be so hooked, that you won’t be able to look away or stop reading.

As words appear on each page as my life continues to tell my story.

Series after series of how I have grown and what will happen and did it turn out the way I wanted it to.

And when it all comes down to the end of the book

you will go away with some tears down your face but you will also be happy.

For my ending will be so great.

Drifting

I’m drifting away like a log down  river.

And soon the current is flowing so fast that there is no going back.

So I let myself be pulled away and so I’m going over.

The waterfall is so beautiful on the way down.

I can’t believe I lived up there, down here is so much pretty.

I float around in the water trying to find the beauty in the new me for the old me is gone.

And even though she was great.

I’m ready to live on better terms and brighter days.

Bliss

My Blissful things:Movies,Quotes,Sunsets and Sunrises.

Wether I’m staring at a Quote that I can relate to or builds hope in me.

Or watching the sunset or rise it’s the moments of quite & peace, and beauty that warmths me.

To feeling the emotions in a movie that moves me to smile or cry.

Im not afraid to be in that moment of bliss.

My happiness that doesn’t go away when the day is over.

I live for my blissful moments that light up my life like the light of the sky when the sunsets of rises.

It takes my breath away and I never want to look away.

The ending hasn’t come and beginning has just begun.

Everyday I wake up to that blissful kiss of life as I take my first breathe of the day.
