So

many things are happening around me and it saddens me when so many get hurt.

You want to be aware of the things but, you don’t want to see the aftermath of the crime.

The people in so much pain and scared when all they wanted was to enjoy another day.

When will the peace be more present than the pain.

We

are friends and yes we are different in so many ways

but the similarities are few but together we are always one.

We have our own style and our own smiles and dreams and hopes and we support one another because one day we may not be holding hands walking down the street together.

We may be living far apart but, in this moment we are happy and we are connected and we are all we need besides family and other friends.

We are not these young girls anymore and we have felt the burn of the world.

We have accepted somethings that we have experienced and have push back at things we disagree on.

We are four strong young ladies and in that moment we are smiling on the past as we move forward for the future.

Just

a moment in the past when splashing in a puddle was funny and the mess was not something you worried about.

Now you are responsible for another little human and taking the time to have this fun in the puddle is a moment you want to live again.

When life was so carefree and you weren’t looking at the time and nothing else in the world matter for you were having fun.

So today we went back and made a new memory and this moment we will laugh about and smile at each other time and time again for the world went on but we took the time to slow down and have a giggle or two.

Oh how

I’ve locked in box for days.

With no way out and no words to save me.

Day and night I fought to find something to say

to find something to connect to.

Yet, all I felt was nothing but the pain of the words that should have been there.

I couldn’t even search for them for I felt so weak and hopeless in a time that felt like it was all just going to disappear.

My happy moments were not around as everything felt so numb and the answer to my questions were far from found.

Nothing made sense and everyday and everything felt like a drag and the reason for me to keep pushing on felt like I was fighting myself for some peace.

Then in one moment it all went away and the light finally shined through the maze I had been walking through for days and my hope and faith were restored along with the strength to keep fighting.

The

words keep going on even when you are gone.

Like a light left gone at night when you fell asleep as soon as your head hit the pillow.

You are like a song everything that has or will be said will be remembered and memorized until something else comes along and replaces it.

To feel like the weight of what you are is crushing me sometimes would be an understatement.

The feeling of you words is like a hand that keeps choking you only to give you a little bit of time to catch your breath before the process starts up all over again.

You are my weakness and yet I have no desire to go near you right now even if I know seeing you won’t be the end of me now.

Oh

how we appreciate the little things in life

from little pieces of pine on a tree.

To the sand on the beach

To the water in the Ocean.

To our time here today that we spent together

even the weather was nice out.

We stand here just enjoying the simple things and

moments that shape us for who we want to be.

The path that finally leads us out of the dark tunnel

but into the light where everything has been set for us.

Finally

just being  able to do the simple things in my life on a weekend when the weather is good.

To be happy to just shop for good things to put into my body and to find new things to try with no worry about the time.

To lose myself in the store just  for a little while then to the checkout line I go and when done off home I go.

To plan out my week worth of meal plans and to relax before my Sunday becomes a Monday and the craziness all starts over again.

The unwanted drama that will come our way unknowingly when we are already  buried in work with no help or escape insight.

We will smile and get through it by thinking about the relax and happy moments we experienced over the weekend when there was no one to bother us.

On

the road is where I want to be just exploring and taking lots of photo’s

and just letting go.

I know that lately the cold weather has prolonged this trip but, it’s now or never

I must not worry about all the things being left behind but force on the things that are yet to come.

This is my time and I won’t let it be pasted up again, it’s time to say more goodbyes then see you tomorrow.

It’s time to truly feel like the path that you are on is the path you would want to be on no matter what the changes are you can handle it and you can live with it too.

For

everything that is yet to come

I am here waiting to walk into something great or to fight for something worth it.

For today is not all that I hope for when I wake every morning.

To knowing things can change if I put a positive spin to it and accept that not everything is going to be perfect.

For I know that I will go through a lot but I shouldn’t let that pull me completely down at the end of the day when my pockets are tight and the things that need to be done are just not happening quick enough for me right now.

Don’t

get to close to me if you know you’re going to mess me up.

I’ve had enough headaches and heartaches to last a lifetime.

I just want someone to turn my life upside down and make me see how much better it can be.

To expand the good things and make them great.

To make my face hurt because I can’t stop smiling every time I see their face or hear their voice.

To have someone chasing me and for me to feel so much more relax and content.

One day you may earn my heart or you may just earn the door slammed in your face.

But, either way you won’t forget me in the end.

I can’t

do this on my own even if I try I know that I will fail.

With you I can hold my ground and smile even when I don’t feel like it.

You relight my fire everyday that I am blessed to see another day.

I know that me being around has a lot to do with you.

You are my greatest blessing and my only hope of getting through these trials I My life.

You’re the only reason I keep going when the days seem too hard to understand.

When

clem-onojeghuo-1419278-unsplash

I see something as different as her

I see the  beauty that is her and the beauty of the art on her.

I see someone like me just trying to express one’s self and not

worry about the outcome that comes with someone else’s opinion about what I can and can not do.

I see someone strong enough to go through the sessions after sessions to get each tattoo on her body.

Someone who took the time to decide where each piece will go and not stopping just at one.

Someone who took the art of putting something on paper or a canvas and made them the artwork that gets more views from simple walking down the street or riding the metro.

The kind of beauty that has a story behind it all and this story will touch you in one way or another.

It will make you want to get to know her and to treat her the way you want to be treated and in the end you will always stand up for her because everyone just wants to be accepted and protected.

So

tracey-hocking-1419748-unsplash

as I close my eyes and try to focus on the things that are going on inside of me and those that are going on outside of me.

For they seem distant me from what I truly need to work on inside of  me right now and not later what it feels like a better time.

I can’t put it off any longer and as I get deeper in my thoughts and emotions a simple calm comes over me and I am free from the pain and the burdens that I’ve kept around a little to long this week.

I am free to believe that if I keep pushing myself in the things that make me happy and excited to do than I am always going in the right direction as long as I keep taking guidance from God and not myself when it comes to going down the right path in my life right now.

Falling

down yet again is the snow

bring more cold with it and

then it freezes and the chances of slipping

becomes more likely to happen.

The beauty of the snow falling is overlooked now as winter has stayed too long.

The desire to stop having to layer up is so story you might just want to take a trip just to warm up for more than one day.

Will you fall soon or will the snow and ice melt away before you have to go outside again.

Why

Are always  talking about the same things when we know the answers.

Maybe it’s because we keep getting the same results with this person.

And we keep wondering why they keep coming back when all they do is complain and find fault in something or someone.

It makes you hope they find their way soon because life is too short to be doing something  you clearly don’t enjoy.

Because, soon it starts affecting your mood and the way you are until you can’t even recognize yourself anymore.

And that will really be a shame because when the passion dies because you choose to do not what you love.

But, what pleases your wallet at the end of the day you may feel like that wallet full but in the end so empty inside.
