Week 169 of Three Line Tales

Day hasn’t been what we imagined it would be as the rain keeps coming down and all around us.
But, we don’t want to end the night so soon so we just enjoy the rain as we walk and run to her next destination.
In hopes that we can have a great time out with our friends for it has been too long, since we have seen each other and tonight feels so amazing and I don’t want it to end ever.

I stand like a toy frozen by your words
wonder why you feel you have the right to say that.
You seem to think you are above everything and therefore you think you can get away with so much.
And I’m supposed to stand around as if nothing is happening and not moving a muscle because you are capable of doing so much more.
I have tried so many ways to help you even when I don’t want to push myself anymore.
You are not the answer to my prayers so stop trying to be all I need.

is it nothing without you?
Do we sometimes think we run the day or control people because what we say goes.
Do we lose sight of what is really important to us because of what others have going on in their lives.
Do we want to live our life or do we want to live their life?
I know I’m fighting to get my life in order because I know I will be the only one who cares about what happens to me now or years down the road.

Letting the good out weight the bad
with a smile on your face .
You know that life can be bad but you keep your head up always.
You don’t let anyone push you around and you always there for others even those that don’t appreciate all you do for them.
You don’t do it for attention but from the goodness of your heart.
You will always be everyone’s biggest cheerleader and that I am so grateful for because without your pushing I would still be procrastinating what I want.
Instead I’m actually making a plan and laying it all out and soon I will be fulfilling this goal.
So I am so grateful for all your support and giving me that extra push when I was just about to give up.

a view outside today even though the rain drops on my window
I see what great I could be experiencing that day if only I would go outside.
Instead I have caged myself inside because I am afraid put myself back out there again.
But, I too realize that I can’t stay in this spot or place forever for its time for me to move on and to continue growing as a person.
There is so much for me to see and right now I’m allowing myself to be stuck and it’s not doing any good for me.
As I see my smile fade away as the rain washes it away as I now live my life with nothing but a frown on my face with no care in the world at this point.

many things are happening around me and it saddens me when so many get hurt.
You want to be aware of the things but, you don’t want to see the aftermath of the crime.
The people in so much pain and scared when all they wanted was to enjoy another day.
When will the peace be more present than the pain.

I don’t like that they all start to step one foot out the door
leaving me behind with both feet still in place still thinking I still have time before my hope really fails me.
I won’t be still here when things get bad for I have to do something for me and I can’t stand here just letting what I really want to pass me by.
I’m realizing now there isn’t a right time and waiting for it to happen is not what I should be doing right now.
I need to stop and not get distracted and do what I really want to do because, I know if I don’t make a move now things are going to fall down around me and I will only have myself to blame.

won’t keep hiding from you if you would just open up.
Just let me come in as it heats up outside and the spring weather blows through.
let’s be like a nice day outside sharing the breeze and the sun shine as we begin to connect again.
And feel at peace as a beautiful melody plays as we realize being stubborn won’t help this situation.
We must compromise to solve and fix the things we are both fighting and show all our cards this time.

you don’t want to see what is right in front of you.
And how much you want to stop filling up the space with anything just to not have to deal with the real reason your hiding in the first place.
But, even though you are running you don’t take anything for granted because you know everything plays a part in your life.
You know that one day when you less expect it something is going to knock you off your feet and change everything.
And you won’t be able to hide or ignore what is right in front of you.
