A

leader you think you are

but, yet as I look around and see the ones fighting this battle with me.

I know you are not one of them as you stand on the sidelines pretending to be involved.

And when we are receiving praises you are the first one to say thanks as if you helped out in any way.

So look me in the eye and tell me who you think did all the hard work at the end of the day.

For I know my team and you are not a real member and the leader well we don’t need one for we work together to get it done.

We are one and the relieve we feel when seeing each other comes from knowing you are no help and we will always be in it together even when our paths go different ways in the end.

I will thank you for bringing one more good person into my life but I won’t thank you for the struggle I live with when I’m around you.

This battle I’m tired of fighting but, the end to our story and path is not over yet so until then I will not show all my cards yet.

This moment things could change and the truth is I don’t mind.

For I know I’ve done my best but, the struggle is just a test that I’m okay facing today and tomorrow.

For I know after not giving up I will have grown a little more and learned something new about myself.

For being one with myself is more important than being focused on how someone else life is.

I’ve been so focus on cleaning up everyone’s else’s mess and in the middle of everything I’ve lost myself and the answer to what do I want isn’t as clear as before.

But, with no time to waste I have even less time to think about myself or those who truly matter as the demands around me force my hand again to do their bidding.

Those

eyes remind me of wet concrete and how I just seem to melt every time I see them and I become stuck in place with looking at you.

I know that to you are so connected to nature as you lay on leaves and allow the dirt and you to become one.

You have no worries about getting dirty as you have found your place of peace for the day.

With nowhere to go for the time you look up and allow the picture to be taken and you seem so content as your purple hair is laid at and when you get up everything falls away leaving you in your true form.

No worries about messing up your nails or worrying about the make up on your face for those things will come and go but your true beauty will shine forever even when it begins to age more.

bright morning is going to be a good day as I relax next to my car as I take a moment to savor the day.

For it looks like it’s going to be a good day with no clouds insight, just clear sky’s all around making you look forward to a nice spring day.

You feel good and you look good and now your ready to show the world you have arrived because with the help of others you finally see the true you and you believe your worth the effort now.

news of the Notre-Dame in Paris going up in flames, makes you  stop and appreciate the things that have always been around and maybe lately you have not thought about.

Until something happens and makes you stop and drop everything to make things better and great before it’s too late to connect again.

Only in time will it heal and be able to rebuild and become great again but without the love and care and attention it could all change for the worst, so lets all stop and help out for once.

night on that road was a night I would not forget.

I knew it was getting late and I needed to get back soon.

Because, around here when it gets too dark that curve because more dangerous and scary.

With just enough light to guide my way as the night stars were out and I was just heading home.

I made it but driving slowly towards that cross walk made me feel as if I was testing my fate a little because I knew the risk but waited anyway to go home late that night.

And my story  could have changed and I knew it would not be for the better.

letting it all out for what’s the point in keeping it all inside.

My story and maybe your story needs to be told but, only if you want too.

Sharing can be delightful and well sometimes scary

but, what’s the point in living if you don’t face the fear and jump in anyways.

When you think back to why something was important too you in the first place all the other things or other people opinions doesn’t matter anymore.

It’s just you writing and loving the way you pour it all out on paper or on a computer.

It all gets delivered the way you want it too, and the feeling of accomplishment is worth the time of  be confused  and unanswered questions.

Because, your fire is back and even if it doesn’t last long this time it will all work out in the end for you will recharge over and over again until the story is told and out there for everyone to love and grow from.

another day

another photo

another moment.

And maybe those things don’t matter for you for your not in that day or photo or moment.

But, still you start to wonder what was going on with her in that moment  or that photo and wow look at the natural lighting that is shining through that day.

And then you begin to appreciate that moment and that photo and make the time to look at more or go out a capture your own moments.

We

are friends and yes we are different in so many ways

but the similarities are few but together we are always one.

We have our own style and our own smiles and dreams and hopes and we support one another because one day we may not be holding hands walking down the street together.

We may be living far apart but, in this moment we are happy and we are connected and we are all we need besides family and other friends.

We are not these young girls anymore and we have felt the burn of the world.

We have accepted somethings that we have experienced and have push back at things we disagree on.

We are four strong young ladies and in that moment we are smiling on the past as we move forward for the future.

a moment in the past when splashing in a puddle was funny and the mess was not something you worried about.

Now you are responsible for another little human and taking the time to have this fun in the puddle is a moment you want to live again.

When life was so carefree and you weren’t looking at the time and nothing else in the world matter for you were having fun.

So today we went back and made a new memory and this moment we will laugh about and smile at each other time and time again for the world went on but we took the time to slow down and have a giggle or two.
