What is it

Week 282 of Three Line Tales

Photo by Mehrab Zahedbeigi via Unsplash

That I want to be when I grow up because working for NASA would be cool as science and engineering has always been something that interested me.

To reach for the stars and back my dreams come true and successfully make it through it all for there is no present moment right now that isn’t as important as the decision of what am I going to do with my life.

Things have not always been easy and at this moment I think about all the possibilities and hope for the best.

To stop

Expecting the unexpected things into your life as if it is what you want or desire?

How can one get help if one keeps expecting someone else to come along and do the work you know is expected of you.

Stop saying yes when you have the feeling you should have said no in the first place.

It’s time to accept you have to do the work with the time you have and to stop overdoing it over time.

Your pushing too hard for something that might be yours later on for the hope of all the answers to be delivered to you now.

It may be your time to shine, but you will never know if you will if you stay in the shadows for too long. For it’s time to step out where others can see you and shine as bright as you can and hope that at least one person notices you.

At that, my friend will just be the beginning of it all.

To color

Week 279 of Three Line Tales

The world more than black and white would be nice to see all the colors together and embracing for once.

For each color to have it say and for it to be written for all to see and for the hate to be no more.

For all we will see would be strength and love and peace with no worries that things will go back tomorrow. For this new way is here to stay for good.

As I

Photo by Jasmin Chew on Unsplash

reach to the sky, a rainbow appears,

lighting up my day, and I praise the lord for another great day ahead of me.

For nothing can ruin this moment that lights me up inside and has me skipping through life like no puddle is too big for me to handle or walk through.

That even if it pours, I will still have this memory to look back on and know that I can make it through the storm once I can make it through it again and again until the lord tells me it is my time to let go.

But for now I will be caution and try not to be so reckless while living with so much risk and love and good energy for I’m on a journey where I’m not ready to let go and I just want to keep going up and to never feel like I’m falling again.

As the words

Week 280 of Three Line Tales

Flow from your mouth, I want to say, “are you happy now?”.

For I know being nasty and rude isn’t going to work out for you in the end, and I know you won’t change either.

So as I walk away with a smile on my face, and a look of surprise on yours. I know you’re not happy now because I didn’t react the way you wanted me to, and that’s okay you can’t always get your way.

To leave

Photo by Erik Mclean on Unsplash

would be great as you get on the boat and finally leave behind the view you’re no longer in love with.

To walk away with a smile on your face and to face change head on and no longer worry about the things you couldn’t change.

To breathe in and out the fresh air of freedom and finally be at peace and let the tension from your shoulders fall right off.

As you watch a new view, come into your life and you embrace the unknown with so much joy.

It has

to begin somehow, even if it makes no sense

it just needs to be written and expressed in a way that draws them in.

Only time will tell if it’s worth the risk.

So little or maybe too much, but there it is out there for all to see.

Maybe not for the first time, but definitely not for the last time.

Words and emotions and feelings all wrapped up in a piece of encouragement or pain or even faith.

But it’s up to you to write it and maybe it’s not happening today or tomorrow but someday soon.

And all you have to do is wait for it to come to you and for it to show you the way and then write it and share it and don’t worry about the numbers, for they will come and go.

I can

Run from you but I can’t run from myself.

I put this off for far too long

It’s time to deal with it now, or it will continue to grow until I’m stuck in it too.

With No escape plan needed this time as I walk to my last destination.

I hope to put everything back in order again.

Therefore, Sitting on the sidelines to my own story isn’t an option I can afford anymore.

Especially if I want my story to have a good ending

And impact someone other than myself when it’s all said and done.

Is Happiness

Week 278 of Three Line Tales

Photo by Bekky Bekks via Unsplash

as simple as having a piece of cake, or is it like a piece of cake that tastes so good at the moment, and maybe one slice isn’t enough to satisfy your taste buds.

But over days the cake will become no good and like that your happiness is over and they leave you with how many pieces of cake left and is that happiness you grew to love worth it.

Or did over time that happiness fade a way for nothing is forever.

To dance and enjoy this break from everything as the sun shined down on me.

I know this break will be different as I swing around and do things differently this time around.

Looking at the clear sky I pray things will be clearer for me as I step forward and stop looking back and accept this is my vision and only God can guide me through this path that is traveled by few.

three line tales, week 277: graduation (gowns and mortar boards etc)

Those days of excitement are here as you walked across the stage and accepted your degree.

Hoping now on your life would finally fall in place and you would do what you love for the rest of your life for this moment was finally here, and you are living the life you had dreamed of.

You have applied everywhere and you can’t wait to work, for what you know will make you fulfilled this time around.

Not knowing

How things will go next makes life hard sometimes, but it is not a reason to give up.

For it is not the time to settle for right now. This fight is not over, but it has just started again.

Because you are doing more and more and this time around, you won’t give up even when you slip up.

For Slip up is not a reason to just accept that you have failed again because there will always be slip-ups in my life and your life.

So let’s embrace them and keep going even though we never done this before. I know that I’m tired of saying what I want to change and nothing changing in the end.

I’m ready to say it and deliver it and then look back and say settling wasn’t an option this time, just action and following up on everything.

For I don’t want to be the reason I’m holding myself back anymore.

Word of the day-Joyful

You were always seen as the joyful one

So full of life and your smile was well one of a kind.

It didn’t just light up a room it made others smile back no matter what.

Oh, I need your joyful self this time of year.

Memories

Three Line Tales 272

three line tales, week 272: people riding a carousel

from my childhood flow through my mind as if it all happened yesterday and not so many years ago.

The memories of some good times and some bad times but they all had to happen and I know I am stronger because of them today.

No point in regretting the past as it was a lesson I needed to learn and to not forget because I don’t want to or need to make those mistakes again, for I want to be better and wiser.

Time

Something I often want to speed up

just to get through the day.

But when inspiration hits, that’s when time is so precious and you need to appreciate it.

Because once it’s gone you can’t get that back.

Time is something I try not to take for granted, for when I do I regret the things I missed out on.

But I realized it’s never too late to take the time today and do something great and let that live on for me.

I don’t want to leave anything unsaid anymore.
