Show me who you are!

100 Word Wednesday: Week 43

Bright lights shine append my first and I stand strong and tall as the show goes on and I’m so glad I got my shades on for it would have been blinding with all the different lights coming on and all as the show goes on.

I see others trying their best to not look directly into the lights as you watch the greatest moment unfold around you. As the fog begins to roll back to the back row.

You finally see everything so clearly and you start to record everything because you don’t want to forget this moment for years from now your life may not be as adventures as it is now in this moment.

Trust me with the things you love the most, for there will come a time when you will truly need me.

I want that time to come and for you to have no doubt in your mind that it will work out in the end.

There will be no moment when you will regret the choice you made but, instead be grateful that you had someone to share this moment with.

Daily Prompt: Surreal

This moment seemed so surreal as it begun and ended nicely

no problems came up.

Which seemed unusual for everyday and night there was always at least one or two issues that would arise.

Someone would mess up or someone would come in and bring their bad day onto us and we would deal with it for life is too short to let others bring us down.

I’ll take the unusual moments over the usual ones for life needs a little more peace in it.

Daily Prompt: Express

Please express how you feel before I walk out that door

I’ve waited for so long trying to have patience because I wanted to give you space.

But, in the end it didn’t even work out because now I just can’t stand by and have you sometimes show me how you feel and other times play it off like we’re just friends.

I don’t want to seem like the one making stuff up but, I’m not the only one seeing you this way.

So I’m putting my foot down and I’m letting you know how I feel and if you don’t want to share with me tonight.

Then lets just leave what happened before in the past and lets just be friends and that be the end of it.

For I don’t play games with those I care about and mean something to me.

Today may be the last time you get to see a certain side of me but, you had your chance and once I walk out that door the wall is back up and everything you saw before will be gone.

But, tomorrow I promise you that I will be your friend but, you need to now give me the time to get over what you’ve done.

And, when I come back don’t try to win me back as more than your friend for you’ve had your time and I won’t be made a fool twice.

Daily Prompt: Fraud

Is happening all around

and yes we want to stop it.

Even if we do someone else will come along

and come up with a new scam.

That fools someone to believe they are helping out or making more money.

They never seem to think twice for they believe that what they are doing is true

and real and in the end they will save more than they ever could dream of.

Until one day that person disappears and all that money you had invested is gone and the dream is now pushed back until you can start building up what you loss that day.

If only I had known this was the sign I was looking for, I would have looked closer to the details of who you are.

I would be so much happier now, and you would be mine and the days spent apart would be no more.

Every moment with you would be a sign that what I’ve been looking for was right in front of my face, always smiling and hugging me when I was down and lifting me up again.

Write to me like we used to do, pen and paper

where I can read your handwriting and trace every letter on the paper.

Let the ink dry so that I can save your letters and read them on days when I need words of encouragement.

Your words were always beautiful and brought peace to my heart and always made me feel the love you had poured out for me.

I will always cherish your words close to my heart for the rest of my life.

Daily Prompt: Fashionable

I love seeing the little elderly ladies that still dress up so nicely.

And their clothes still be  fashionable and they know they look good for they eat up all the compliments.

They are the kindest and funny people who just enjoy everyone’s company.

They are always smiling and seem to be having a great day.

They say thank you all the time and they mean it too.

Their smiles reach their eyes and you just look forward to seeing them.

I see you

I see you and everything that you are going through

my hand is reaching out to help you.

I know everyone seems to be far away from caring about you but, our hearts and hands are closer than you know.

If only you would stop for a moment and look around and notice that not only was I always there for you.

I always gave you the space you needed, so that when you were ready I’d step back in and save you from anything.

My last breath would be for you and anything else you needed I’d make sure you had for no sacrifice I could make for you would be too much or too great.

Daily Prompt: Launch

She started to think that maybe everything that had gone wrong

had been her fate because she had done everything she could do.

Her words were let out before she was ready to say them.

They launched across the room and landing into your ears as you heard everything

she was saying about you.

You don’t want to get on the same path as her as she continues to say such things and I’m sucked for she seemed like your biggest supporter.

But, now she launch nothing but a nasty war on you and you don’t deserve the plan she is causing.

Reaching up for sky as I feel the breeze blow all around me as the sun goes down and I truly breathe for the first time.

For the heat has been unbearable all day and I just needed a moment when things were simple and cool again.

I need a nice fall day to cool me through my day and let me feel good not just during the day but at night too.

Daily Prompt: Mighty

My God is mighty all the time

But, on the days that I am going through the roughest storms.

He knows just what I need without me asking for anything at all.

I run to him the moment things turn bad but also when things are good.

Recently, the loss of my great grandma had me rushing to my God.

For I know I needed him more than ever as the tears washed down my face.

And he delivered his strength and comfort through the days to come.

Yes, there was sorrow in my heart and soul but he was there not ever letting me go.

I will be okay because of him and for that he is mighty for he will always love me and now my great grandma is spending time with him.

And, one day we will all be together again.

Daily Prompt: Thorny

Her words were so sharp

that it felt like I had fallen into a bush of many thorns.

And no matter how many times I tried to get up, it would just cause more pain

as my hands touched more thorns.

As I finally rolled over and fall to the ground safe from the pain.

I looked up to try to ask you why you had been so harsh to me but,you were gone

and it all seems like a dream because you were gone before I knew what had happened.

Ride with me

100 Word Wednesday: Week 35

100WW_W35Image Credit Zachary Staines

Come take a ride with me on this quite day

Lets forget about all the things that are getting in our way.

Let’s enjoy the things that are right now and not the things

we can’t predict.

Let’s take our time to make things right and hope that the faith we have will hold strong

for us as we go down this path together as friends, as lovers, as two people who not only want the best for each other but other people as well.

We hope for a good future and know that it is coming for us soon and that no matter what we will get through it with something we’ve learned from it and maybe something we regret as well.

Only time will tell.

Daily Prompt: Finite

Were all limited to a certain amount of time here

in this world in our days.

Rather we are working or at school the time we are scheduled to be there sometimes is limited.

And as we try our hardest to try to get it all done it just doesn’t seem to work out no matter how much we put into it.

We all seem to feel our energy drain at the end of the day and we just have to accept that what we could do would have to be enough.
