Two

ilie-micut-istrate-443259-unsplashPhoto by Ilie Micut-Istrate on Unsplash

is what we became that day when you said I love you to me and at the time I didn’t say it back but, you already knew how I felt and would say it when I was ready.

The sun seemed so bright that day as I stared into your eyes for a long time and no I wasn’t bored or tired of looking at you.

For I could have done this for the rest of my life and never got tired of looking at you.

I didn’t know that things would change a little after that day and two would become one for so much longer did I would have liked.

I didn’t know what to think as all I could think about was how two was once my favorite number and being with you  was like having my favorite ice cream every day of the week and not worry about calories.

I just loved the feeling of joy that filled me to the top that often I felt so happy and I loved that feeling so much that when it was gone.

I cried for it every day and every moment that it would come back and the hole that was apart of me would close up again.

I used to

be like the sun so full of bright light all the time and things were peaceful and silly and nothing really got to me.

Then I became like daylight saving and those moments that were so bright became so much darker and the light was seen so much more less.

Yet, there I was sitting in the same spot feeling so differently as if I was a cup full of goodness and now I was an empty cup and nothing good was left of me.

I was a favorite and now I’m not something that is old and has always been around and well no more useful to you then a book for who reads anymore.

I was like Christmas when you were young and the excitement was so big that you just couldn’t contain it anymore and so you woke up so early so hoping there was something more under the tree.

Now holiday days aren’t that fun to you for well you still have to work and you just don’t have the time or energy to do much.

So when you look back at what I used to be and do for you, your were grateful for those times and now you just don’t have the same hope you once had in me.

I thought

I was clever as I said those words to you.

I thought I knew what was needed to be said but, you prove me wrong and I’ll never forget that smile on your face.

All the small things from you became all the things that mattered.

Your sweetness was something I started to crave and I realized how lucky I was that day.

You were truly special and different in your way and everyone else that came to play.

Didn’t have a chance to catch up to the strength and understanding you had.

You opened my heart and fixed all the pieces that were damaged and you opened your arms.

And you never let me go even though sometimes I tried with all my might to push you away.

You never truly let me go even when I broke away one day.

For every time I looked around there you were and I could not ignore how I felt.

I feel

so discouraged about the things I want or need in my life right now.

Decisions seem so much harder for me to make right now and I just don’t have the time to be taking my time to decide what to do.

I want to hurry up and do the right thing but, life seems to not be going my way and I want to scream.

But, even that seems like it would take up to much of my time and so I’ll sit here and be defeated and feel like I have failed myself.

But, the truth is I don’t have the energy to fight right now and I just need this time to get my self together and maybe than things will start to look up for me.

Am I

Going to be the reason I am defeated.

Am I my worst enemy right now as the battle to survive seems harder than before.

Am I the reason it’s hard for me to breathe right now.

Am I the reason I’m so tired right now did I drain myself of all the energy I so needed.

It feels like it’s been a long day and maybe it has been.

But, this drain feels different from what I’ve felt before.

I just hope some rest helps because I’m completely wore out right now, my arms are so sore.

My eyes want to just close and go in a nice deep sleep and  only wake up when I’m truly refreshed.

I want to

give more but, my tank is empty.

The words don’t flow freely anymore

and the time it takes to just think of something feels like a day wasted.

The solution to this problem isn’t clear and the root of the problem no matter how many times cut down it is still grows back so fast.

That my head is spinning and I Just wish things would just calm down so that I can get on and words may come back.

My mouth starts to open but nothing comes out and my hands are so still I think they have fallen asleep.

I try to search for that feeling that seem to be so true but yet isn’t coming my way right now no matter how high I try to remember the code to solve this for me.

As I

close my eyes and just let the air blow over me.

My thoughts of today start to pop up and my hopes of a great day is all I want.

I focus on the positive things as my feet hit the ground and all that troubles me fades away.

No grudges left to hold on to today as the wrongs of yesterday were left there and today I am filled with forgiveness.

I will not let your bad morning or day ruin my mood and maybe my good mood will lighten up your dark mood.

And we can both end today on a good note.

So much to do but, yet I am searching for that moment when I can make it easier for someone else.

For my days are not all about me and so reaching out now and then makes me happier.

For my joy can become your joy too for sharing is nice sometimes.

Do you

actionvance-711841-unsplashPhoto by ActionVance on Unsplash

see me as I lie here letting you see me as me

I’m hiding behind anything just laying here bare and vulnerable.

I am still in this moment when life is at peace for me and no stress is overpowering me.

I lie here wondering  what today will be like when I  get back up and face the world head first.

I sometimes have to calculate the moves I make in order to get ahead of the trouble I know that is coming.

I know that on the outside it looks like I have it all together but on the inside I’m a mess and all I want to do is scream and let out the frustration.

But, for now I will be calm and I will do my best to be up beat and lively when I stand in front of you today.

I don’t

know how to play it cool when it comes to you.

I try my best to not let things bother me when it comes to you.

But, I find it hard to just let things be when you’re so important to me that just letting things fade away.

Truly is saddening to me and yet that is how things are now.

I used to try harder to get your attention but, now I’m too tired to put in the effort I used to.

So here I stand watching what was once one of my favorite things to do just fade away like another day on this earth.

I know that I won’t forget you but, I can’t say the same for you.

His queen

I never thought one day I’d be someone’s queen and smile so brightly

for this day is the best day of my life.

To dress up in the most precious gown to me and feel so amazing that simple words can’t explain how I felt that day.

You looked at me with so much love that I didn’t think I could receive and keep inside of me when times get tough and I need so badly to cling to that love.

I know that you love me and that this picture will always be one of your favorites and I hope one day to capture one of me looking at you as you smile so brightly.

You

allef-vinicius-305413-unsplashPhoto by Allef Vinicius on Unsplash

always believed in me when I didn’t even know what I really wanted out of life.

You always brought me out my shell and letting be have my moment when I was too shy to face anyone other than you.

You took me past my limits I placed for myself so that I would always be safe, you kick those limits out of the way and showed there was so much to live for that being scared wouldn’t get me anywhere in life.

You made me know that being shy wasn’t a bad thing and everyone has to warm up to people and then and only then will they be comfortable to put themselves out there.

This shy sweet smile is for you for you fought so hard to brighten up my life and now I can at least smile for you and myself today.

Journey

jad-limcaco-272413-unsplash

I don’t know how I feel about this journey I am on right now

I’m always mad and miserable no matter how I try to look on the bright side of things.

Because right now everything seems like it is out of my hand and there is not much I can control.

I want to scream and stop caring so much because even when I care nothing gets done and I’m left cleaning up a mess that wasn’t made by me.

I take the angry words being spit at me even though I didn’t cause the problem, how much longer do I wait for things to become better.

Is better things coming my way or am I cursed to live this life with no hope or light to guide my way in this place.

Outside the place that haunts me day and night, I sometimes have moments were I feel so alive and free.

But, in that place of darkness the sweet and kind me turns so salty and angry and I don’t want to make excuses but telling the truth isn’t really an option.

I count the days when my freedom will become permanent and not just temporary for two to three days.

Daily Prompt: Juxtapose

I think about the things that are happening now and even though I don’t want to deal with most of the mess that is happening around me right now.

I know if I compare where my life is right now to what it was before I know I’d probably pick now.

I know that things are getting crazy but, there are little blessing here and there that make me strong enough to continue on this journey called my life.

I know if I compare who I was back than to who I am today I’d probably shake my head and tell that girl she deserves so much more than what she is being offered and to know that her worth is more than just how much money she is making.

Daily Prompt: Disappear

Sometimes I wish these nasty people would let their nasty attitudes disappear and would for once realize everyone is human.

But, I realize that well this is a wish that possibly not going to happen because to these people I am nothing but a servant to them and without them I have nothing.

I am not worth respecting and they can be as nasty and wrong because it is my job to serve and please them.

If only the tables were turn and they were in my shoes and dealing with the crap that I go through, would they be able to get through it?

I bet they won’t because if they react the way they do now and tell everyone their sad story which isn’t that sad.

They wouldn’t last a day in my shoes and I would gladly take their shoes and probably go around being nicer to people for we all have a story.

Maybe you don’t want to hear mine and yet I already know yours and yet out of respect and being a decent human being I listen and show sympathy now and then.

I could disappear and I’m sure you would be happy not to see my face but, the things you complain about will still be there with or without me.

So for now I will disappear and accept that with me gone maybe you will be happy but, it’s not me that you have to answer to at the end of the day.

Just

when I thought things were starting to look up

the storm hits hard and I just can’t stand up to this anymore.

I fall short and the answers just don’t show up in time for me

and I know things will come to play but life right now just don’t seem so real

when you are getting  up but the force knocks you down just for someone to blame you when things are not going their way.
