You

wait for me to make a decision.

Even though we have talked about it before.

For some reason, I still can’t commit to what I need to do.

The word yes is on my mind but when I open my mouth all that comes out is I’m still thinking about it.

Or any other excuse I can come up with.

I know you deserve an answer and it should be me to give it too you.

But, I don’t know when my mind and my mouth will agree on what I have to say.

I just hope it happens, soon for I hate to see you suffer and move on without me.

To hesitate

At this moment with you would be my greatest mistake.

I don’t want to wonder what is going on with you.

I just want to know, even if it’s a rejection or anger and sadness.

I want to experience every moment and emotion with you.

For I just can’t get enough of you and the days spent together just aren’t long enough anymore.

You’re like a song that I never get bored with listening to repeatedly.

And no matter how much time goes by, you are truly someone I can’t live without.

I believe

On this sunny day

You were sent to me to make me smile Throughout my day even when you are not around.

I know now that you are an angel sent to Look out for me and I appreciate you always asking about me.

I know now even if I don’t see you again you will always be in my heart.

I don’t

want to hide anymore and I just want to let the  tears fall.

For letting it all out is better than keeping it all inside.

So over being tough and yet still feeling so weak because there is so much I can’t change.

The time to figure everything out has come and yet all I feel is I need a break and I don’t want to work towards finishing what I’ve started because that’s what I always do.

Why would this time be any different then the times before.

I’m no better than that girl that I used to be and there doubt is to show it’s ugly face when things are going so good.

And the truth is I just want to let doubt win for who is to say I will make it even if I beat doubt this time.

It might hold more power on the next round  I know it will come again and  I just don’t know if I willing to fight it again.

I knew

the risk but I took the leap anyways for there wasn’t much to look back on

I know that nothing good will come if I stay on this side of the cliff today or tomorrow.

It’s time to move on and leave behind the baggage I never wanted to hold on too anyways and anymore.

I’m tired of playing it safe and I know now that I need to take this risk even if it is my last because I don’t want to keep living  the same way.

I want to feel my heart beating so fast and to hold my breath just in hopes that I will make it and if I do I will be so grateful.

But, if I don’t make it at least I know that I tried my hardest in the end to make the change that needed to be done  now rather than later.

I’m tired of being too late and for once I want to be on time with my decisions and to make the cut in the end for I want the best results this time around.

So much

Anger boiling up inside

I feel like calm water before it starts to boil on the stove.

Then all of a sudden the water is popping in every direction.

And as you reach to down it falls at you and you jump back in surprise.

And I know if I don’t calm down my anger is going to blow in so many directions it’s not going to be funny.

The stress is getting to me and I’m not me anymore and that should be my wake up call.

I’m running

Out patience to just let things slid off my back.

I don’t want to play nice anymore for it feels like I get nowhere fast.

And I suffer more when I choose to do more than I can handle.

Because I want to get all done and not worry about it the next day.

When will I stop and just walk away and let them figure it out on their own.

That’s the question I may not ever answer.

It’s

not up to me to plant the way for you even though I want so much for you.

I know you Would rather be like the plants that don’t need much water or care.

Then one who needs to be covered with water daily.

You hate the unwanted attention and yet you feel mine is needed every once in a while.

Sometimes I worry you will truly push me away and regret it because all you truly wanted was someone to love you unconditionally.

Sometimes

I don’t want to hide

I just want it all out in the open.

But, would that leave me feeling too vulnerable

or will it be just what I needed in the first place.

I guess I won’t ever know if I don’t get up and do

something about the things that could lead me to.

A place that is better than I could ever imagine I deserve

and the truth is I do deserve so much more and I know it

doesn’t stop here or there for I have a long way to go.

But I will get there soon enough so that later on there will be no regrets from me .

Tomorrow

will you ever come

and when you do will it be something I enjoy.

Will things look up for me or will the struggle still be the same.

Is it time to listen to the ones that are more mature and wiser than me

Or is it time to do what I’ve always felt was right for me and don’t give up when things get tough.

Time to give it my all and if tomorrow comes I can continue to work hard but know that I laid it all out the day before because nothing is the finally answer until you open your eyes and see the light of a new day in the same place on earth.

Hiding

isn’t going to make the bad times go away.

Even though all I want to do is blend into the leaves and not be seen I know it will be impossible and at the end of the day if it’s just you and me.

I can face it all and not worry about the things that are and will happen when things start to go south.

I know what it takes to make it work but, how can someone give so much and then you turn around and demand more with this innocent look on your face.

And I want to laugh because clearly you think I’m too naive to see right through you.

When I come out from hiding I know you will say things haven’t been the same since I’ve left.

And I will just smile and be the bigger person and walk away.

Leaving you behind to clean up your own mess for the first time.

Every

Corner I turn I seem to be faced with the same crap before and after all this time nothing has changed.

It’s like looking in the mirror and expecting yourself to smile back even though you are not in the mood to smile.

You try your best to get through it all but you just can’t seem to keep down the anger anymore.

And you know that it’s not fair for you to be doing it all.

And the ones doing little to nothing always feeling like they are carrying the load that you been pulling along for far too long.

Will your day come, you hope it does soon too because you can’t take it anymore and the clock clicks on for you today.

This

photo made me stop that day when I was just walking down the road.

It was like I hadn’t seen something so beautiful in so long since I’ve been just keeping my head to the ground and just been trying to get things done with no regret.

I just wanted to show another side to beauty as the sun goes down and the stores close up and the bars open up for some entertainment or just for people to come and let off some stream from a long day that has been running them through it all.

They didn’t expect Monday to be so hard but they hoped things would look up at the end of the day so that this week didn’t just completely burn out on them before it even started.

They really needed some good luck right now as they feared that things were once again turning into a mess.

What

a view outside today even though the rain drops on my window

I see what great I could be experiencing that day if only I would go outside.

Instead I have caged myself inside because I am afraid put myself back out there again.

But, I too realize that I can’t stay in this spot or place forever for its time for me to move on and to continue growing  as a person.

There is so much for me to see and right now I’m allowing myself to be stuck and it’s not doing any good for me.

As I see my smile fade away as the rain washes it away as I now live my life with nothing but a frown on my face with no care in the world at this point.

Just

letting it all out for what’s the point in keeping it all inside.

My story and maybe your story needs to be told but, only if you want too.

Sharing can be delightful and well sometimes scary

but, what’s the point in living if you don’t face the fear and jump in anyways.

When you think back to why something was important too you in the first place all the other things or other people opinions doesn’t matter anymore.

It’s just you writing and loving the way you pour it all out on paper or on a computer.

It all gets delivered the way you want it too, and the feeling of accomplishment is worth the time of  be confused  and unanswered questions.

Because, your fire is back and even if it doesn’t last long this time it will all work out in the end for you will recharge over and over again until the story is told and out there for everyone to love and grow from.
