Watching you as you try to sneak up on me late one night and all I want to do is get away from you but, you start to move faster towards me.

And before I know it you’re upon me and all I want to do is get out of this situation which all started with a little eye contact here and there.

I wasn’t and still not interested in what you have to offer and at the last-minute, the door opens and automatic closes behind me and all I see before the doors close are your eyes still watching me.

Just need to get away and find a place that will bring me a little bit of peace from this stressful place.

Some fresh air to breathe and first time feel like I can try taking deep breaths and not choke on all the pollution that is in the air around here.

I want to walk long walks and know that my lungs will be getting the best air and my legs will be going towards something great, for I want to truly laugh again and smile too.

Paying attention that day could have cost me everything, but you were there by my side to make sure I paid attention to the things going on around me.

You stacked that phone out of my hand because you didn’t want to be in a crash that may take your life or mine or both that day.

Today was going to be a great day and you wanted us both to remember this day when we look back on the greatest moments of our lives.

I didn’t think this day would come and the nerves that are running through me seem to be too much.

I am trying to be calm about this situation for this is something I’ve been dreaming about but, didn’t think it would ever be possible.

But, today is the day all my dreams come true and I’m excited to see how it all works out.

I told you that I would go high and low to be with you my love and at the end of the day, my goal is to see a smile on your face.

I know that you didn’t expect to see me today but, I just couldn’t leave you alone today and so here I am at your window watching your face light up like seeing me just made your day.

I was pretty pleased with myself that day and that you still talk about that day to everyone that you know and who will listen.

Like a blur you were gone before I could capture the real beauty in you that day, the only thing I saw was the yellow in your skirt and the black of your one boot.

You said you would slow down and try to enjoy these little moments in life that we bot h wanted to enjoy together was slowly cut short.

You were gone and I didn’t know how to feel or how to get in touch with you, for your phone was not picking up and all I wanted to hear was love and calmness of your voice that day.

Looking through the looking hole

100 Word Wednesday: Week 65

I wish it was you I was seeing on the other side of this hole that used to be filled with lots or love and laughter.

Now it just so empty with broken promises that never seem to be happening for me, I just to hope that something will come of this situation.

Will this hole ever become whole again and will my smiles ever reach my eyes again, or will I be so hallow and empty until the end of my time.

Everything in my body is telling me to follow that arrow and take a risk and go on this path that I know will lead me to bigger and better things.

But, then there are the doubts that sit in the back of my mind that just tell me that I’m not good enough or blessed enough for something so great as this happen to me.

I’m fighting to do the right thing and to finally believe that I too can be on the path that fills me up completely and, for once I won’t doubt what is to come or what is happening now for I will know this is where I belong.

Look at me do you see the difference in me from all the others or do I seem the same as them.

I don’t want to be the same for I want to stand out and I want you to see me for me and I want you to acknowledge that I am not the same for I have so much more to offer.

I stand here staring at you for you have no option but to look at me and accept that I am here and that I am not someone you can just walk on and then pretend like you did nothing wrong in the end.

Hey my friend it’s been a long time since we talked and I just have so much to tell you.

I felt like if I don’t tell you now I won’t be able too because my time is very limited right now and I know that you always give me positive vibes.

You lift me up with the joy of your light that shines out of you, these moment are so few now but I know that when we talk it will be good.

Green everywhere and all I think about is happiness and joy and how bright everything is.

It makes me realize that I needed a little joy in my life and this little reminder made me feel like even in the darkness the light will shine through.

I just have to look deeper and through all the mess and maybe the next couple of days will be brighter and happier because, life always needs something small or big to change it from bad to good.

I’m riding the wave of a lifetime, I’m so peaceful and happy right now as I focus on making sure I make it out of this tunnel.

I never thought I’d make it this far and my talent be more than a hobby to me and to have all the people I love watching me and supporting me too.

The sun shines down on me and I feel free for the first time im my life and that’s why I love being out in the water for I feel like nothing but, doing what I love in this moment matters to me.

Like the color yellow you always brighten my day, you always find the right words that need to be said.

I depend on you for so much that if you went away the great wall that holds me up would crumble down and I would be no more.

You smile my way and I can’t help but, smile back at you and the inside jokes that can only be shared with you keep me laughing all the times and I realize now how lucky I am to call you mine.

I sit down to read this morning and enjoy the little time I have before going to work and as I stare ate the roses and thread on my desk, begin to wonder how long it’s been since I’ve made anything with my bare hands.

I used to enjoy just making things and just taking long walks and picking roses from the garden but, now it seems I spend more time working and less time reading and doing the things I used to enjoy.

My time is limited and I value the time I have now more than I did before because I spend it doing the things I love less and spend more time doing the things I have to do just to survive in a world that just seems so cruel most of the time.

Empty

Three Line Tales, Week 106

tltweek106

It was late at night and the subway was barely empty every one left on the platform was all you saw as we all waited for the last train to come around.

The escalators  leading up and down were empty except for the one lone person heading up.

To where, no one knows maybe they are going home or to a friend’s place but it’s dark out and I hope they get there safely.
