our little holiday on wheels we do this almost every Saturday night with a cup of tea or hot chocolate and we look up into the sky.

With no worry insight for this our time to get away from the stress and just be in the lights and sitting on top of the throw that will keep us warm later on into the night.

But, sometimes I do this alone for my light needs time to restore and come out only to be seen by myself.

For being around others sometimes could be overwhelming  and so in the trunk I sit imaging what things could be like if I had done things differently.

I know that we will always come back to this spot but for now let’s just live one day at a time.

To much to

handle in one week let along two weeks in a row.

No consideration of what is going on with others just your satisfaction of having it all laid out.

The truth has always been there and yet I put up with it for far too long.

If I want to be true to myself it’s time to stand up for what I want and well have them deal with the rest.

I know I can’t help what is going on around me but I’m trying my best to overcome the things that annoy me the most.

For it’s time for joy and to put the complaining behind me and focus on the goal ahead.

To do more and to finally feel like I’m getting something done without the worries of sinking in the end.

I want

 to feel alive again.

To feel safe again.

To feel like my writing is good again.

To feel like I’m taking care of myself again.

To feel like I know what I want.

To feel like I’m in a little control of what is going on around me.

It feels like I’m in a pile of mess and everyone expects me to know the answers to the questions.

We all want answers too but the unknown is coming and right now it doesn’t look that good.

Tomorrow

Do I want to know what you will have waiting for me when I walk through those doors?

I don’t want to even walk up and deal with it.

I know I will have to battle myself through the easy stuff and just ignore the tough stuff altogether.

I know I already feel the wear and tear as today and this week will weaken me in more than one way.

Will I survival or will I just give up and quit and not worry about the outcome in the end.

I really wish this could be the end to my chapter in this place but it has yet to be written as I stand by looking on to a better future and hope for myself.

Trying to

Find that spark that made me feel so alive that words would just flow from me and all things big and small won’t that bad.

But doubt settles in for the winter and all seem lost again.

But I won’t lose faith as I see the bigger picture after this season that is not that great.

For I hope the next season will be so much better and the warmth will fill me up inside that the coldness outside will barely bother me these days.

To be

Able to take a ride on a day like today is great.

Just riding on the crisp leaves down the street as I enjoy the view of my neighborhood.

Just knowing these days will be fewer as we truly get into the fall season.

And winter soon comes knocking at our door.

But for now I will focus on what a great day it is to be outside and enjoying my free time.

With nothing

 To rush off too

For the first time in days.

I’m gonna just let the wind blow and just breath in and out for a second.

For I feel no stress or anxiety to get things done.

I can truly enjoy the weather and the day before a storm or colder weather blow in.

For once I can just let my hair down and enjoy the little moments in life that truly make life worth the struggle we face some times.

This place

So beautiful and peaceful that can’t stop coming back to it.

I know now the ugly things don’t matter when I’m here in this place.

It’s like nothing can touch me even when I know all I want to do is run and scream like I’m in a horror movie.

And of course I will run towards the very people hunting me for they too will play as if they are the victims.

Until they turn on me and then as the light fades from my eyes this place will come to my mind and I will be okay with it being my time to go.

Oh how I wish this place wasn’t just in my dreams but where my reality went to be happy and where my soul could have some peace for once.

There is

No reason

Why things are falling apart!

Other than laziness and lack of communication.

The train is not moving and people keep coming to get on only to be turned away and go on another train.

I wish to get off too and not come back for the same problem is always here.

I don’t want to do it anymore but I don’t want the headache either.

To leave is the only thing running through my mind right now.

To stay is not even a option as I realize it’s just one more snake trying to bit me in a new location.

Nothing new of different about these sneaks and talks.

No point of faking happiness because it’s not what I feel coming to this place.

Sometimes

It’s not about the storm and how much it is coming down.

But, about the rainbow that comes after it.

For all the anger or frustration before the storm is clearly wiped away when you realize all you want to do is smile.

Now that your looking at such a beautiful rainbow.

That your pain for the days are ruin anyway and now you can explore something else.

Learn something new and very just not give up in the end for you know there is light to every darkness.

Like a

 Tree I can break too.

And not just on an icy day.

Sometimes it’s sunny days and I slowly dry up with no new growth inside.

And I slowly start to bend until I fall completely apart.

And be no more.

You will clean up the mess I made and maybe on a hot summer day you will miss my shade.

But as the storms come and go you will not worry about me as I will not be leaning towards the house.

But just maybe you will plant something new in my spot and it will begin to grow.

For just because one falls down doesn’t mean another can’t bloom in its place.

Blinded

 by the pain and frustration

That I don’t see the change that is happening around me.

You see I’ve been in the dark with just a flashlight of light and when that window of light shined down on me.

I didn’t notice something had awakened in me.

For it felt no different than the Tuesday before.

But, somehow the energy I was feeling felt so pure and powerful.

It wasn’t until I saw his eyes what I had been trying to see in my owns.

The look was light itself shining back at me with no darkness around and as he stepped cross to me.

I swear I saw an angel in Him and what to come next was nothing short of a miracle.

Everything

I want seems so far away like the land on the other side of this river.

I know what I have to do but, there is so many distractions all around keeping me so busy I dont think about what time it is until it’s too late.

I know that I should be putting up a fight and doing more but I just don’t know how to get motivated anymore.

For I know what my day will end up like and I know there is no coming back from what is to come and I know I can push through it but right now feels like I’m at the end of my rope.

And if that’s so will I every get everything I need and want at the end of this trial of my life?

How could

I say this in the nicest way without truly hurting you.

Oh how I want to say what’s on my mind right now.

It’s so bad that I say nothing because I’m afraid I will just spill out of me like a waterfall.

And once it’s out I don’t care about the outcome because I’ve already wasted so much time caring about things that don’t matter.

I’m a open book but right now I’m closing my doors and packing up to go.

Nothing left to share as I realize there is so much more for me then standing here holding my tongue all day.

It’s time to just be me and let my wings out and fly away into the sun in hopes of seeing another day.

Your mouth

Opens and I wish you would close it.

There is nothing you can say that would interest me.

I don’t want to hear you complain about what is not being done.

I don’t want to hear my name coming from your lips either.

I feel like I’m done with you but I have to see you almost everyday anyways.

I don’t want to deal with you but what choice do I have at this point in time.

Lost and I don’t want to found as I find ways to avoid you.

Only two days and then your back again and I know things will go back to be so unfair.

But I will push on for it’s not you I’m truly trying to be like right now and it won’t be you I see when this journey comes to an end.
