let it all burn away

the broken promises

the lose dreams and hopes.

Let it all burn in the past as I focus on the present.

For I’m not holding on anymore to the things that could have been or would have been.

It’s just the now and how soon and from there I will see what will be.

is up and it feels so good to celebrate this year.

Even though it’s been a tough one there has been great moments too.

Lots of laughter

And lots of tears but from those sad moments.

Came growth and understanding and hope it will get better over time.

Will come

Rather I like it or not.

For to live is to see another day

And hope for new opportunities and

Maybe even new friendships.

So just maybe tomorrow won’t be so bad for me.

One can only hope

Now that things will work out this time around.

Here you come and with you comes the shiver down my spine.

When the wind picks up and the coldness surrounds me.

And the not too cold days are gone as winter comes through.

Leaving you with no other option but to wrap up and stay warm.

For winter is coming and there is no going back at this point.

As the year slowly comes to an end and you don’t know what to expect next year.

But you are hoping it will get better, for you have so much more to give and enjoy.
