As the trouble begins, I” ll be our eyes and see over the chaos and get us both to safety.

As we stand in another battle we didn’t volunteer for.

We need luck and hope and wits to get out of this one and show them yet again we can come through it all.

And maybe this time, those who fall around us won’t haunt us as we close our eyes each night to sleep.

And as we wake up, we must remember we will do it all again as we are the slave of the man, and we do as he says.

Until we gain our freedom again and see the ones, we love and left behind.

The days until I can be not stressed

Or not hear the whining of the people complaining about the small things.

He could fix it without saying a word.

But he seeks an audience when these things happen, and I aim to shut it down and move on with my life.

To live in peace and harmony with the world, I have been blessed to be in.

One day he will see this blessing, too, and realize all the complaining he did was for nothing as the light shines down on him every day in some small way.

Avoid you as everything you do is an attempt to stir things up.

When you should just be trying to blend in.

Drawing to much attention to yourself as if it’s a game.

And maybe it is a game to you, but when does it become enough for you?

Or is there no limit for you?

And if so, I don’t want to play your game, as I got off before you said to start.

That you are the way you are and I will have to bend backward and forward until I break.

It is hard as I am getting close to my limit, and my body is getting weaker and weaker.

And as I become as miserable as you are, I have nothing to look forward to anymore.

You have dimmed the light, and now all I can see is red in your eyes.

As we stare at each other in the dark moment of our lives, I am not sure what the outcome will be as the hope inside of me has already begun to fade.

It goes my peace of mind

My quiet time

The silence in the night when everyone is sleeping is all I get.

But during the day, the sounds are heard, and I can’t sneak away to a quiet space because everywhere I go, you find me.

So I must accept the noise and the joy and count until all are asleep to enjoy my silence and find the peace I need finally.

Because I know if I don’t balance out the noise, I will fade into it, and trust me, it’s harder to get out when I’ve become a part of the crowd.

Thankful is to be real

You appreciate those around you and all that they give even when you don’t ask, but they show you no matter how much they appreciate you and how true you are.

How real it is to be around them as they show you with love and care.

A feeling that you are not alone even in your darkest hour.

There is still light, and it will grow stronger the more you let those that love and care for you in.

For it’s time to embrace the love you deserve more than ever now.

Time to celebrate

Or time to question everything around you.

Or time to keep your mouth shut and your head down.

Because hits and knockouts are happening left and right.

It’s unclear who will make it out of this holiday.

Especially a time of joy and cheer, but all I see are fear and tears.
