Is very dear to me and I have loved coming on here and writing and sharing my work.

I’ve met some really great people and have grown so much as a writer but, I feel like right now I have to take a break from my blog and come back when it feels right again.

I hope that those who follow me will still be around when I come back and will just enjoy some of my old work.

how you capture me tonight 

like magic that seems to not ever end. 

You travel to so many hearts and lives 

I wonder do you ever just get tired. 

You share with so many and some experiences last a lifetime 

where others only last a season or less. 

Do you cry for the love that does not work out or do you hope that one day things will turn around for the couple. 

Oh love as I hold you in my hands tonight I can’t stop but smile and enjoy this time I have with you. 

I wonder if I will learn anything new from you tonight or will I unlock the secrets that were always deep inside of me.

times will my smile light up your day 

will they all be real or just faked when I see the sadness in your eyes. 

Will you remember how many times I was there for you and even though I was hurting 

I but my feelings to the side so your happiness came first. 

You laugh and smile was always worth putting first when I knew at the end of the day I was happiest when you were too.

Is where some people want to be right now just to relax for time being.

But, some of us aren’t lucky enough to go to the beach so we try to have our moments calm.

It may not last for very long but it helps pick our spirits back up and be ready to ride the next wave.

a rainbow you only appear in my life once in a while.

You may seem like a good thing when you first show up 

but after a while you become too much. 

You suck all the good energy out of me and leave me feeling drained and tired and washed up all at the same time. 

You don’t seem to care how you affect those around you and so you don’t even care when they tell you enough is enough. 

It takes time for me to gain back my strength once you are gone, I moved away with no forward address just in hopes you won’t find me again. 

But, then I saw a rainbow today and I knew you would find me soon enough and so I try to hope tomorrow won’t be the day I see your face again.

me like a canvas 

don’t stop until you create the right image in your mind.

I’m ready to get out of my comfort zone and become a piece of art for you. 

I am different from those around me and I’m okay with that for today I get to be more than I ever thought I could be. 

Every little detail on me is telling a story and inviting you in close to explore it, don’t be shy for I won’t bite.

some place that is new to me and you

for our time is limited on this vacation

and I know that you want to get in as much scenery as possible.

We go to North shore first and work our way to the other places before it gets too dark and we have to turn around.

You already made sure we both had on the right shoes so that we can make it through the walk too and on our way down.

It’s hot out but, with our hats we will be fine.

is what I’m looking for today.

I hope that everything will work out today for I know it will be a long day.

Hoping I can get inside the house before the rain starts pouring down.

Hoping that even though Summer is soon to end that I did enough while I had the time.

I know that I’m doing my best and even though not everyone sees it, I still receive some   gratitude from the people who appreciate me.

I shine

my light into the sky and what do I see on this dark night.

So many stars in the sky but it’s not the stars that catch my eye. 

It’s the big creature that is looking down at me like it’s been waiting for me to shine my light on it. 

It’s something I’ve not ever seen before and as I stand here looking up at it I feel scared and amazed at the same time. 

I can’t stop looking and I can’t move from this spot and I don’t know how long I’ve been out here. 

But, I know someone will come looking for me and right now I just don’t want to be found or for them to see you and warn the others. 

For I feel you are not here to hurt me but see the world that I live on and to maybe help me.
