Happy International Women’s Day!

Today I launch my website and Facebook group “Release Your Pain, Embrace Your Confidence”, in honor of the women who need confidence and their voice to be heard.

For I want to help them grow in self-love and confidence and find away to express themselves and feel comfortable in their own skin and Embrace that they are so much more than what others have said to them in the past and the present.

I, too, used to be so quiet that I was passed by or not seen because I didn’t want the attention if I spoke up you would see my flaws and my struggles and see where my smile didn’t reach my eyes.

You would see I was just a woman trying to get by. I was a woman trying to blend within the crowd because I wasn’t what society said I should look like. But with a life coach and doing the hard work, I found my self-love and confidence. I enhanced my voice and allowed myself to be seen, and I allowed change to happen in me and changed my body and soul. But don’t get me wrong, I have fears, and stepping up is scary and honest, but I’m doing it anyway, for I only have one life to live, and I know I can’t ignore this feeling and meaning to be more for others and myself.

Spiritually I continue to grow and mentally too and physically I still have work to do but I do it for me and those who are struggling too.

I want to help, and I will, and it will take time for trust and growth, too, but the women who need me will find me, and together, we will celebrate not just today but every moment God gives us!

I know this post is a long one but if you made it this far, here are the links to my website if you are a woman who would like to join my private and safe haven Facebook group to “Release your pain, Embrace your Confidence” with other women then send me a request on Facebook and let’s work together to make a change!

Poetry

Treat me

Like your favorite treat

Make me a priority so even on your bad days you have something to look forward too.

And when you see me you will get that same feeling when treating yourself to your favorite treat of all time.

For I’m one of a kind, and I light you up inside like a Christmas tree.

So I know when I come around, you feel like it’s a special occasion, for I treat you like a king.

I hope you will see me as your queen.

So let’s toast to treating each other well as we both have our treasures to explore and maybe we can treat each other to many moments that are enjoyable and everlasting treats.

Your not here

But I am

And what does that mean

Does it mean anything

Or does that mean I have so much left to do

And will I waste the opportunity you gave me and run out of time?

Should you have given me so many chances, my friend

Or should you have given up on me like everyone else?

Who am I now that you are gone

Will I ever know, even as I make a name for myself

I know it won’t be the same if you were the only one rooting for me!

You knew when I was good and when I was okay was just a lie to get by in this world.

You not here, but I know now you never wanted me to end up like you.

And every day, I will fight my demons to make you proud, my friend.

Week 203 of Three Line Tales

three line tales, week 203

photo by Cameron Armstrong via Unsplash

another week of getting attacked by the people you thought would understand this difficult situation but no they are quickly taking bites at you as they come and go.

Leaving you more frustrated as it is and you have had just about enough of this crap at this point that you are just a second away of going off.

You just smile for your next opponent and hope that you come out on top from this battle your about to face because you know it is all about to go down and you are not going down with this ship.

You shined so bright

Three Line Tales (TLT) is a challenge put forth by Only 100 Words. The Challenge is to write a three-line tale for the supplied image.

Here is my take for the Week Number Fifth-Two :

It had been a long time since I’ve seen you shine so bright

when he said goodbye to you years ago I thought you wouldn’t smile again

but one day out of the blue you smiled at me and said it looked like a great day for a walk and after that day you were never that sad again.

Quiet

I am

Sometimes I don’t have much to say.

In silence I stand watching the world around me.

Not much to say as I disappear into my mind and think before I say something.

But, at the same time I like the quite moments when no one is making a sound.

And all is quiet

As if everyone is sleeping and I’m up just enjoying the world for what it is.

The moon shining down on me as the noise of the world start to fade as we all become so tired that our eyes can’t bare to stay open for another moment.

So quite it is as the music plays in my ears and nothing outside or around me can be heard and, I’m at peace and I’m at home.

With no care in the world I welcome the quite moments and, fade into the world where no ones else voice is heard.

For just a moment I find the missing pieces of who I am and, I thank the quite for granted me the truth I need to see.

A little bit of hope left!

Three Line Tales (TLT) is a challenge put forth by Only 100 Words. The Challenge is to write a three-line tale for the supplied image.

Here is my take for the Week Number Forty Eight :

tltweek48

Bright light shine so bright in the face of a child when there is so much darkness in the world.

That little light will out shine it all and the little hope her parents have for her will bring so much joy.

When she grows up, she will become the little girl who didn’t give up and will live life the way she wants too in  the end.

Quotes

Quote of the day

“May Light always surround you;
Hope kindle and rebound you.
May your Hurts turn to Healing;
Your Heart embrace Feeling.
May Wounds become Wisdom;
Every Kindness a Prism.
May Laughter infect you;
Your Passion resurrect you.
May Goodness inspire
your Deepest Desires.
Through all that you Reach For,
May your arms Never Tire.” D. Simone
