You shine like a light that I never want to go out
I know that things can be tough and difficult at times but I don’t want you to lose who you are to please those that don’t care in the first place.
When you’re quiet and staying to yourself I know that something is going on and all I want to do is help you through things time.
But, you’ve been hurt before and your trust is on lockdown and I just wish that you would shine your light on me and see the truth soon.
For I’m here for you and I’m not going anywhere for I have so much time to offer that I know that you will let me in soon.
