So cold

outside yet I don’t let that coldness get to the warmth of who I am.

All around me people try to tear each other down just to feel like they are stronger or wiser than each other.

Some want to put on an act and be someone they are not just to fit in.

But, I feel like if you don’t like me for me than you are missing out, and this time of year just really builds my warmth up.

So in the cold you see my beauty and the stare of I’m not the one to mess with, but don’t let my armor fool you.

For I am someone you want to know and see just like the white snow that falls around me this time of year.
