Tonight I

Want to forget about being the only one you can depend on.

I want to be the one no one bothers on her day off.

The one no one thinks about until it’s too late to call or text.

The one that just skates by off the radar with no concern with a problem comes up.

The clueless one who thinks all she does is really enough and up to standards like everyone else.

I want to be me and not be bothered with a load that not just one person can carry on their own.

But that’s life for ya but I’m a warrior and I’ll be okay in the end.
