The note

that keeps me going when some days can be hard.

And for a while, I thought I lost it.

But like a great memory, it was ready to be found again and again.

I can’t say I’ve been happy all the time but who has.

Life enjoys throwing so many rocks our way sometimes that it just seems a little rough.

But we walk and stumble along in hopes of one day getting out footing back.

This note has kept me going even through the roughest paths we’re looking like deadends.

At times my hope was fading fast.

I was struggling to stay strong enough to overcome this trial.

That

smile on your face shows your happiness today.

Even though the heat you have kept that smile on your face.

These days that smile is always nice to see as the world around us falls apart day after day.

So much sadness and facts and events going on that you try to lock yourself away from it all and focus on the good moments.

For life really seems short these days with the possibilities that things will and cant last that long.

Everything is changing and the chance that things get better seem so slim right now but you don’t give up for you know there is still hope.

With you red hair shining bright as the sun that day with hope of showing off your red lipstick trying to show that the little things in life still count.

Three Line Tales 238

there in the field so still and patient for the first time in such a long time.

I know lately we have both been moving around a lot and our time together has faded out sometimes.

But in this moment as I snap picture after picture of you in the field that day I can only smile and enjoy this moment together and I just hope your smiling under that helmet too.

This time

I don’t even have to worry about

The time

Words

Or anything.

Because Gods got me.

His helped me find the words I needed today

To move forward with my journey I thought

Would be on hold for so much longer.

It’s given me hope to keep holding on in hopes more words will come to me again.

Only God will tell me and show me when.

And for that, I will wait patiently this time.

Life

Seems clear as the darkness of the night appears.

Everyone is out and about as if things are normal.

But there is always that shadow lurking in the backyard just ready to attack.

Making you always looking over your shoulder in hopes it doesn’t get you this time.

How did

I not know

How much things would change?

And in the end, it would drive me insane

And no amount of time would make it better.

For the answer had always been there.

So clear and bright but I’ve ignored it

I thought I knew what was right because I was tired of searching and this felt kinda nice.

And so I go in the hopes of making it right again and hopefully finding my sanity too.

You pulled

Me in like a fish on a hook

At first I fought it so hard.

But then I got tired and gave in

To your power of desire.

As I jumped from the water it was like

I was captured by your eyes.

And I’ve never looked away since that day.
