I will get away from all the noise and let the trees and the sound of nature keep me company.

I will let the wind blow me around like the fallen leaves on a windy day and just let go of all those emotions out into the atmosphere to avoid going back to reality feeling the same before the escape.

Because it’s time for a change, one that only happens when my season has arrived and I accept the change.

I came back to our spot hoping to feel your presence well, staring at the stars, as this was the place you loved the most.

This was the place that let you recharge and become centered with yourself again and again, as sometimes reality took a lot out of you.

This place is the last thing we did together before you took your last breath, and you told me if I ever needed you to come back, and you would be there for me in the best way you could be..

just me, but I just need some time away in a place where it’s just me and nights are long and the days go by slowly and I can finally feel like I’ve stopped time.

And every moment that I have means something and I accomplish all that I need and want too, with no regrets as the day comes and goes.

There will be no hurry back to the reality of a life I barely fit in anymore.

as simple as having a piece of cake, or is it like a piece of cake that tastes so good at the moment, and maybe one slice isn’t enough to satisfy your taste buds.

But over days the cake will become no good and like that your happiness is over and they leave you with how many pieces of cake left and is that happiness you grew to love worth it.

Or did over time that happiness fade a way for nothing is forever.

have arrived at a place that will allow us to get away from the life we have lived for far too long and we have stressed and relaxed but not fully cleared our minds of all that has happened this past year.

For all we know is the door that we have been waiting for is about to open and there is no going back once we walk in.

Knowing that this so-called peace may not last longer than two weeks but to make the most of what we have is to be grateful.

Something with my hands again would be nice.
To be able to set time aside and color or paint something new.
To feel at peace in a space that is all mine.
I hope that I can create and release something great in my eyes; even though it will be different, it will be a work of art.
It will be light and colorful as the light inside me pours out onto the sheet creating something I can’t seem to express in words that day.
The feeling that all the stress has left my life and it’s time to face the music for hiding behind everything is no longer working out.
Creating and growing today is all I know and want as I lay down my tools and make something today.

when cookies and milk were something I looked forward to eating for the right amount of dipping of the cookie.

Made it just soft enough to eat and taste so good, but if you dipped it too long the cookie would be lost in the cup of milk and would only make it if you fished it out.

To something that is a classic snack and go to dessert, I know I won’t forget my first time having cookies and milk or my next time having it either.

quite dark out and as a lite my torch to find my way around the field that night, I came to a dead-end and couldn’t remember which way to go.

Was left that would lead me back to the house or farther into the woods.

Or was it right that would guide me to the house and if I hurry now I can make it there before someone or something come out and find me instead.

is here and as we live in a world where too many people can’t crowd around and traveling is quite risky.

Deciding to go to the cabin in the mountains for the holidays sounded quite nice for there would be no one insight and the four of us could use a little break.

From the stress and just get out in the fresh air and enjoy the quite and be able to walk around without worrying about getting too close to someone I don’t know.
