Fear

I’ve let you run so many things that I stop trying sometimes

I allow you to make me sit on the sidelines when I could do more.

I allow you to use my shyness against me most of the time.

I let you make me feel I’m just not ready.

When I should just jump at the chance that presents its self to me.

I should know by now through my faith that God will get me through the impossible things.

And right now I don’t want to fear the unknown, for I want to back my way

For being stuck in a situation that feels hopeless isn’t the way I want to continue my life.

Fear you will become small soon because I’m making my faith bigger and stronger so that you have no more control over what I want to do and what I need to do.
