Side to Side like a rag doll as you tear into me and won’t let go but off you go.

Hitting something else as you go on until you leave the pieces of your rage behind with no care for anyone else.

You were gone before you could be seen this time, just our luck.

But what happens in the dark will come out in the light, and until that day comes, I will try to forgive but not forget and move on with my life.

Calm before

The storm comes blowing in again.

I Shouldn’t be surprised if this keeps happening every weekend.

But to think things would change would be very foolish of me.

So what do I do you say?

Just shake my head and crack a few jokes and go on with my life, For this isn’t one of those things worth fighting for anymore.

I won’t

Go there as you seem to keep crossing the line.

And a part of me wants revenge, but then I realized it’s not relevant to my growth, so why fight back and fuel the fire.

I would instead walk away knowing you wanted me to fight back so you could feel better about yourself.

Because in reality, it’s always been about you and no one else, and I’m a little disappointed your that selfish, but who am I to judge.

And so I try not to, but every time I try to stay out of it, you’re pulling me back in, in hopes to make me more like you.

But I’ve been down that path before, and it always ends up with you alone with more issues than you had in the past.

And to me, that struggle isn’t worth it.

October is

Advertisements

Here and with it comes the cold weather and the hot drinks that will keep us warm this fall and into the winter.

But let’s not get too ahead of ourselves as right now the excitement is the air.

Those who celebrate Halloween start to count down the days and decide what they will wear, from costumes to nail polish to make-up, until they have nailed down the ultimate goal.

To others waiting for their birthday to come or a day off for well it’s just another month before November and December.

But with October comes the falling of the leaves and changing of the colors.

So much to look forward to, but for now, I’ll take it one day at a time.

As fall

Begins, so does the burning of the candles as you want to be surrounded by the things that warm you inside.

Letting the scent travel from one room to the next makes the home feel more homey.

Letting everything feel light and crisp as you focus and think about the new season you are in.

And what a wonderful season it has been so far.
