I’ve let

Advertisements

You chew me up and spit me out, too many times and enough is enough.

The doors of my life that once we’re open to you are closed, and I don’t trust you enough to open them once more.

You’re like a snake you bite when you want to and wrap your tail around me when you need something from me.

You know your bite won’t really hurt me, but you enjoy seeing me in pain and confused.

Until the day I set you free in a place so far away, you will never find your way back to me and my peace or happiness again.
