How can I

communicate with you when you won’t answer the phone?

Respond to a text message and even when I try to track you down in person. You don’t bother to show up.

But when I give up, you show up a month later with no apology for not responding.

And I began to wonder what kind of friendship I signed up for.

And then I walk out the door, leaving you wondering if I will ever return.
