The layers of who I used to be

Sounds easier than it is but when I did.

I found peace and resistance as I started not wanting to move forward.

But then you talked me off the cliff and made me realize I needed to put myself out there. Sitting here in comfort is all great, but what growth will it bring me?

So I get up and do the work, and some days aren’t great, but at least I’m trying.

And I’m looking forward to what is to come as I allow another layer to fall away.
