And sit there

For how long

No one knows

And so you get lost in a story.

Hoping someone will say something soon

But they don’t, and so you sit for a bit longer.

Until you are about to lose your cool, they say good day, and you go home.

And you will remember this day for now

But as you sit and stare and do too much all out once.

You will remember the day when all was quiet and you got to focus on one thing.

How peaceful today and how grateful I am it all worked out.

For things sometimes could have gone differently.

And then what would you have done?
