Why do I

Want everything to be perfect

When I know I’m not perfect

I have flaws, so when my nail polish doesn’t go on right, it is flawed too.

And that is okay because I’ve realized I can’t be good at everything, but what I am good at is right for me.

As I’m weird and quirky, I love it, for I love myself.

Even when it feels like a battle of what not to do and following my heart, I know I will always choose myself and have my own back.

For I know now being perfect or having an ideal life isn’t real.

Messy, but doing what you want and love is the way.

For we all matter, and we are all great just the way we are, and one day, we will all accept what we have become, for we worked hard to be ourselves for us and no one else.
